Went to the gym this morning and the lady ahead of me discovered her membership had been cancelled... that is when I realized I'd totally forgotten to pay my membership fees this month! Oops! Thankfully I'm only a couple days late so they aren't going to cancel my membership yet. Then I totally forgot tonight was the pick up for the kid's school fundraiser stuff. Thankfully I remembered before it was too late so was able to go pick up our stuff. Other things have been popping in my head too... today I freaked out wondering if I'd forgotten about my son's school snack day.. but I didn't, that isn't until later this month. The one thing I haven't forgotten yet is that parent/teacher conferences are tomorrow. Hubby forgot though and went and made plans for the time I need him to be home with our kids.. darn him! LOL Have you forgotten anything important lately?

For me it tends to be the little things that I forget about from time to time. The last thing that I forgot about was that I was out of pop and really needed to go to the store and then turned around and let my husband have the car all day which meant that I wasn't able to run any errands. The last time that I forgot about something that was somewhat important was when I had to send lunch money with Kathryn, but I didn't forget for too long a period of time and she is up to date with lunch money now.

Everyone does stuff like that. My oldest son's school pictures finally came in earlier this week.. and I've been wanting to send them all off to an aunt who's currently in Florida for the winter. So every morning I remind myself that at some point during the day I want each kid to write a little note to the aunt to go along with the pictures, but after they're all in bed already I remember that I'd forgotten to do that. So yesterday, I'd put my daughter to bed for bad behavior.. and then remembered the notes so got her out of bed so they could all do the notes.

I forget stuff all the time, unless I write it someplace that I am sure to see it. I have a notebook where I write a lot of my computer related stuff, and yet sometimes I still forget to write it down. I attribute my problems to old age, and lack of sleep. We can say yours is because you have lots of kids and family issues to be concerned about. Why is hubby not going to parent teacher conferences as well as you? He is a parent too.

We wouldn't have anyone to watch the kids while I'm at the conference.. and I can't take the kids with me to have a one on one conversation with their teacher about them. He stays home with the kids while I go and relay the information back to him. It's how we've always had to do it.

Nothing important but some little things! LOL...like the name of someone. At work we heard a song and all of us were trying to figure out the name of the singer..well someone has internet on their phone and looked it up. I knew what it was but just couldn't capture it....also another name for something...finally someone came up with it or it would have drove me crazy!

That happens to me all the time. Usually while watching a movie I'll recognize someone and start to wonder where I'd seen them before.. and it would drive me crazy because I know they played in something I saw and liked.. and it's like right there on the tip of my tongue, but I can't figure it out.. I also don't want to get up from the movie to figure it out, so if I don't figure it out by the end I'll go look it up.

I forgot about my daughter's field trip permission slip. Luckily I remembered right at the last minute. I hate when that happens.

Oh I forget things all of the time. do not worry about it. It is just that you have too much information to think about at one time. What amazed me is that no longer can I gather y belongings in the morning and just leave the house and get in the car and drive to work. It takes me ages to leave as I keep forgetting if I picked up my keys and then have I taken my meds and did I pack an umbrella. And what about the work that I took home to do last night and forgot to do. The list is endless and if the kids are there they just look at me in astonishment that I make so many trips from the car to the house and vice versa. Why some days, I actually feel old

You're not old at all. I think I probably do just have too much on my mind lately.
