Hi! I recently had an interest in ChaCha and had a few questions to ask you fellow myLotters. Do you think it would be alright if I used my mom's SSN and then answered the questions for her? Also, do any of you know if they tax you and how they pay you? Thanks a bunch guys!

Why do you need to use your mom's SSN? I suppose you could do that if you had her permission. They don't tax you. You have to report it on your taxes though if you make so much. I think it's anything over $600 or $700. I think you can either get paid monthly by check or you can set up a bank account and then get paid whenever you want for a $2.00 fee.

I'm actually 15 years old. Wait, are you allowed to be on myLot if you're 15? Well anyways, my mom and I have been trying to find some ways to earn money online and this seemed like a good legitimate way. It's just that the SSN thing caught us off guard. It kinda seemed a little suspicious.

No, they are legit. That is why they need your SSN. Because they keep track of your earnings and they turn in their profits etc to the irs also. You do have to be 18 to work for ChaCha but I'm sure you could use your mom's number and do it. You have to take a test to get the job. Good luck!

Do you mean CHA CHA is a legit site? I did registered there but I quit when they ask for SSN. I am scared if I just anyhow gave my SSN online. besides it looks like the job there is tough!
