There may be two thoughts about having weapons whether to defend ourselves or attacking others. We know that weapons are playing a big role in our world so as by protecting ourself from terrorists and other elements. But what if there are no weapons? I think then even terrorists won't be able to create distruction and everybody would be depending on his body power which i think is better.
So, would you like tn have a weapon free world?

I don't think that really exists. If we had a "weapon free" world only the bad guys would know where to get them. there would be no way to protect ourselves from extremists. Even if there were no weapons someone somewhere would figure out how to make some thing to hurt someone else.

But that would still be considered living in world with weapons, just one where the bad guys had weapons, and the good guys did not. A completely free weapon world is one where none exists at all, not a carpenter hammer would have to exist then. It is a good philosophical idea, but it really wouldn't work in this society.

Think about any weapon-less place you can... for instance a prison. There are absolutely no weapons there. But they always find a way to make a way to protect themselves or try to over power others. I am afraid as long as there is greed there will always be weapons!

As soon as someone in prison gets a hold of something and uses it as a weapon, it means it IS a weapon, the place is no longer weapon free.

Without weapons you wouldn't have a microprocessor, or an internet to ask what the world would be like without weapons. :~D

Taking away the weapons might solve a lot of the problems. However not all of them. Humans still have their fists and their feet that they can brawl with. Therefore there will still be a slight amount of violence when you really think about it. Plus someone will figure out someway to cause mayhem, even if they do not have the weapons.
Anything can be used in the wrong hands. There are so many great achievements in science that when corrupted, they can be quite dangerous to say the very least. I would very much love to live in a room that is free with weapons but the problem is, that is very unlikely. There are just some people who do not feel safe without weapons, for whatever reason, for right or for wrong. Therefore, it is unlikely they are going to give them up.
