Dressing shows one side of who we are. Fashion is a statement of how we like to be perceived and how we like others to see us. The Emos, Metallicas, Rockers, Hip-hops, Punks, Glamors, High-Classes are all part of wide variety of fashion statements for showing individuality. In a one way or the other, fashion shows what is our social life and status. The rich can afford what are high-profile fashions, the average have the fashion for the masses while the less average, well.... they do less and have a less showing on this side. But there are also pretenders for fashion. They think that they have fashion authority but in the whole look of it, they are just pretending that they know some form of fashion. Sometimes, these are labeled as "social climbers" because they want to show-off and their spending for fashion does not equate on their status in life. In all of this, we just tend to dress of who we are...plain and simple.

We usually express our own identity through fashion. It's something that we can alter or change. It's something that can't be taken away from us. It's simply who we are, the way we dress, the way we carry our clothes. It tells so much of our own personality.

What attitude are you talking about here? like the personality or like habits? i don't believe that it's a mirror of our attitudes. but i believe that it shows the person's mood that day. Well at least that's what i think. I love fashion as well, and i'm exposed to fashion everyday at school. I see the same people who wear different styles that reflect their mood but not necessarily who they are.

Yes, I believe there's a ring of truth in this. Our fashion tastes is an extension of our attitude and personality. If we really are true to ourselves, our choice of clothes is something that make us comfortable. And yet, we sometimes use fashion also to pretend to be someone else or as a cover-up of our true selves. We want people to see a different image of us, so we dress according to the image we want to project.

Yes, I believe there is truth to that. It does show on the outside how we feel on the inside to some extent. For instance, people who do not feel good, often start to dress sloppily. You can also often see who takes their career seriously by looking at their clothes, and so on.

I think it is ture that what you attitude to the life that you are living could reflect your thought about the world .but I don't think that your thought about life depends on the attitude to the fashion.
