http://www.healthcare.gov/law/introduction/index.html That is there website for it and well it is some 1000 pages of no fun to read trust me I have read it. There is a lot of screaming coming from the right wing on this and well about the whole issue of "Universal Health Care" which it is indeed a common thing in most "socialist" or left leaning nations. The biggest issue I have with all their screaming about how it is socialist and anti-american and sometimes will have along list of adjectives added into it. I feel that some people need to have a thing brought to their attention we already have "Universal Health Care" in this nation it is already here. We have had it for as long as I have been alive it is avaiable to everyone or at least 25% of the worlds population of certain someones. Don't know what I am getting at. Well I will tell the 25% is the percentage of people who are currently locked up. And where are they locked up well if you don't know that then well I am sorry (United States thats where) so if you break the law in this country and have some illness lets say cancer or HIV guess who pays for it you? Nope not you but the state that you broke the law in. 100% of the cost to help you is covered so for HIV that could be $1,000+ per month for the pills needed to fight or keep control of that virus for Cancer it can be even more and you know what it has been ruled by the courts that it is a right for you to recieve health care while locked up. Okay to be fair a Hospital can't turn you out on the street for not being able to pay for it but they can sue you or try to get that money back. All we charge prisoners is $10 to 20 per day to be locked up and if they can't pay it we don't let them out until they have their balance paid off. Oh and did I mention the cost of this is something like $62.05 per day per state inmate and $62.01 per day per federal inmate. So you see these prices don't include the cost of the Health care preformed on the inmate. So we have Universal Health Care if well if you break the law. Just thought it should be put out their.
