Do you think the idols and celebrities of our world today so often
send the wrong message to our world? Since everyone has them all over
their tv.. don't you think they should be less open with their
personal relationships?
Moreover don't you think tv as a whole portrays the wrong
way of life most of the time..
Think of the soaps, the gossip tv shows, etc?
What are your thoughts on celebrities.. number of divorces.. their
acquirement of wealth etc..

I have not given it much thought and come to think of it many of the celebrities are not exactly heroes to aspire to emulate look at Lindsay Lohan for example! A lot of celebrities seem to be getting in and out of marriages on a regulars basis too! It is important to remember that what we see on TV, movies and magazines are not their real people and sadly a lot of them seem to have less than ideal private lives.

Yes, I think they do send the wrong message. If they can fake their own character, and be a fake when the camera starts rolling then, for sure they will be different when the cameras are off.
Some would tell you " we are just friends" but hell, after a few months, you'll hear that they are pregnant! I do not believe celebrities anymore.

for me, it is really wrong. well, i mean they have their own private lives as well but since they are public figures, they will be followed all the time exposing their lives, may it be good or bad. i believe it is still much better to have their private lives kept being private, like as what you have said, relationships. divorce is a big thing, more or less, it has an impact for some fans when their idol is undergoing such thing.

I think fame and fortune come with the price of privacy being a bit broken, but not to the point of knowing every details of their lives. I don't think they send the wrong message as they are people just like us, they are just in the public eye so we see it more and know way too much sometimes. But I think the media (gossip shows, magazines etc.) plays a part in it too, I mean how much is really true as to made up? I don't think we will ever know that. I do think they try to be as private as they can, but you never know who you are befriending these days, celebrity or not. Hope I didn't go too off topic. Enjoy your day.

there are some bad and some good ideas and learning they are influencing but at hands selective is always at its pick that why their are parental guidance to protect children and perhaps with the divorce thing we cannot hold that fact because there life is not ours to risk so if that happens maybe they have reason so we should just be on midway to understand that and beside there life is not ours so the least we can do is let it be just the guidance and its up to the person if he follows that or not so nothing wrong.
