Has music lost it's flavor?

I am currently at a retail store and they are playing a song over the intercom. THe last three songs that were played ina row all sounded almost exactly the same. i believe it is in the same key and has relatively the same rhythm. I get bored pretty easily, so I feel like banging my head into the wall at this point.
The next time that you are in a store, listen to the music that they are playing and see if it has any originality to it or not.

Sometimes I feel the same way. I work at a retail store that daily makes me cringe with the music we play. I spend my break listening to my Ipod to remind myself that there is real music in the world that makes listening to it a joy, not a chore. There are true artists out there that make songs original and worth your time. Most retail stores don't play songs worth your time, in my opinion. Radio stations are getting out of control too, unfortunately. Its getting harder and harder to find good musicians these days. Its now all about who has all the money...

No way has music lost flavor--if you think I'm kidding, you may need to find more genres in your life. There will always be something new to hear. Even if two songs sound similar, they're not the same--each has its own "thing".
