If you live in California, you can attend the trail of the serial cat torturer, Timothy Kooyman.
If you would be interested in attending the trial of a serial cat torturer, a jury trial is scheduled for Wednesday, December 1, 2010 in the animal cruelty case against Timothy Arie Kooyman, filed in the Riverside court earlier this year. Kooyman, currently in jail for unspeakable crimes against cats from a previous county, has been accused of torturing in a horrible and gruesome manner, three cats he took from neighborhoods in Corona, CA while he was living at the National Inn motel in that city. Jury selection is set to begin on Weds. December 1 in Department 52 of the Riverside County Superior Court on Main Street in downtown Riverside, CA. People should to be in the courtroom to show support for the animal victims in this case who cannot speak for themselves. Here is a short blurb on how bad this sico is. A man convicted of torturing and killing cats in Rancho Cucamonga faces new criminal charges for killing cats in April 2008 at a Corona motel.
Riverside County prosecutors filed three counts of felony animal cruelty Friday against Timothy Kooyman, 25, who is serving a five-year prison term.
After Kooyman was arrested for abusing cats in Rancho Cucamonga – acts which included cutting off cats’ tails with scissors and setting one cat on fire – he confessed to detectives that he had recently committed similar acts at the National Inn in Corona, according to police reports.
The cops think he lured cats from a nearby neighborhood before abusing them in his cheep motel room.
Sicko, psycho Kooyman told the cops that he broke cats’ legs, decapitated a cat with an ax, ran over another with his truck, and cut another repeatedly with a razor blade.
About a month and a half after the alleged abuse in Corona, Kooyman was arrested yet again, this time in Rancho Cucamonga for killing cats there.
San Bernardino County prosecutors initially charged Kooyman for the alleged abuse in Corona as well as his acts in Rancho Cucamonga, but a judge dismissed the Corona charges because the alleged crimes occurred in a different county.
Kooyman pleaded guilty to the Rancho Cucamonga charges.
Lets see this guy locked up for life!

Unfortunately he won't get enough. I would think life without the possibility of parole is appropriate. I couldn't live without cats. I'm sorry you can't have them. Cats are the most wonderful creatures on the planet.

What is this man's problem? If we all think abut it, cats are very sweet animals and here he is, experimenting some tortures in this beautiful animals.
He should be in jail and should be stapled there for the rest of his life. And I hope gets to have the same treatment with his inmates so that he'll know what the cat feels like when he tortured them.

I wish I could be there to stand with other cat lovers and pray this sicko is locked up - sadly abusing an animal isn't seen as serious as a person, but they often start with animals and move to humans, if we are lucky someone in prison will know this and take him out

Whatever happened to poodle boy? The guy who threw a Bichon Frishe into traffic. I know the inmates were dieing to get their hands on him. Did they kill him? Or did he just bend over and grab his ankles every day of his life while in prison? javascript:__doPostBack('ctl00$cphMainContent$lbStart','')

OMG! I live in Australia but I wish I could go and see this bas1ard be put away forever! Society doesn’t need this kind of sickness. Oh my goodness those poor defenceless cats! I look at my own fur babies and I cannot fathom anyone torturing them in such a manner! I pray he is removed from society for good!

I'm not in California either. I would love to be at the trial. My cats are my fur babies too. Even if someone doesn't like cats, they should realize that cats are sentient creatures and just ignore them. Is that really to much to ask from someone?
