Noli de Castro, for mer VP returning in TV Patrol

Yes Karen Davila says that she have a feeling of loss because she anchored TV Patrol for about 6 years. And i think its pretty unfair for the part of ABS CBN just to exit Karen who is working hard just to deliver those news to the Filipino Community and the World also.

De Castro has been a TV icon and he's really good. Although it is reported as a strategic move, I also think that Noli would still be back in the news since he had said it before. And as for shalani, I still don't understand why she accepted to be a co-host of willie revillame whom we know who he is..

Hello Maean, I've always admired him to be the "BEST" Anchor of our Time. although, I was amused when he ran for Vice President, seems this Political Career of his has tarnished a bit of his reputation. Although I've always known his intentions were good, it's really hard to maintain a good posture in Politics most specially if you have enemies. I thought Shalani is already an EX of President Noynoy already? I wish Mr. Noli De Castro wouldn't attempt to run for public service again.for now, am not even sure if it's really competing him as a anchor battling willies show. There's no way they can beat the news.

i heard its because of the low rating against willies show in tv 5. i think noli and korina is a good pair for tv patrol to improve the ratings but we can understand if karen and julius will feel bad about it.

Why did Noli De Castro a former Vice president of the Philippines to turn back as news reporter? very funny isn't it.... a politician turns to a reporter. why didn't run for presidential? hmmmmmmmmmm.......... Aquino family.... Lopez family?.ABS CBN? how are they relate to each other? mmmmmmmmm......

I dont think it was necessary to put noli and korina back to tv patrol just to raise their rating. Personally, i like juluis and karen more than them because the atmosphere in the studio is light and relax with juluis and karen around.

Honestly, I don't like Korina Sanchez taking over Karen Davila. Maybe because that she has streaked of politics in her since she got married to her husband vice presidential candidate Mar Roxas. Kabayan is fine but we all can't help (in my family) that he has politics in him also. Would he still be credible enough to deliver news? I hope he's not biased. Willie's ratings is soaring high. Here in our area, most of them watch Willie's show than hearing the news. LOL

I heard that Karen Davila tried to transfer to Channel 5 but was told that their news team is complete. She was instead offered a place in the cable news channel that Channel 5 is going to launch soon. At the rate TV5 is growing, it might be wise to hitch her star with them. I am not so sure that Willing Willie will be able to topple the news shows. Sure people were curious when Shalani was introduced, mainly because they wanted to see the recently ex-ed girlfriend of PNoy. My mother and I watched the launch and I was bored after a while. I think people are use to getting their news at that time and will not willingly shift allegiance.

tv 5 should compete fairly with the other two networks so people can still watch news promgrams which are very important so people will know about the happenings. if tv 5 is really confident about willie's program they should just put the airtime same as the noon time show of others. if its really true that willie still gets a high rating, what should they worry about?

I am happy that Noli comes back to newscasting. I think he is better there than in the government agency. As to Karen, I don't think she will have ill feelings, she is mature and not narrow minded. Good luck to Shalani, hope she will not be upset when people talk negative stuff about her. Hope Willie learned his lesson too.

Actually I was not able to watched television news for two months already.I am just feel safe when logging in to my computer.Abs-cbn is a media company driven to change whatever should be changed.I don't see any issue here.It is just a big moved,that is life.It is time for a change when everything is getting worst.No network war just put everything in control.

I kinda felt odd when I ws flipping channels between TV Patrol and 24 Oras because I felt that both main male presenters (De Castro and Enriquez) are known newscaters who are projecting their voices on air. I much more apprecited De Castro over Enriques any daY. As for Shalani, she's courting trouble with attention. Willie is a known 'harraser'.

Sorry but I kinda laughed when you mentioned that it was a strategic move against Willie rather than against Mike Enriquez. You have to remember that a news program and a variety program have different formats and different audiences. the time slot of Willing Willie is against the news programs (e.g. TV Patrol and 24 Oras). I believe that they used this schedule to give viewers a choice or to be specific a choice to escape from horrid bad news being reported everyday by the same anchors in a monotone voice. When it comes to Shalani, I think it is another PR move since the said woman seems not to know what is doing with herself. I do wonder why she associated herself with such programs at all.
