No, I do not think so. Though I am not a person aspired for a large fortune, I hope I have enough money to support myself. And free me from hunger and cold. I have experienced the feeling of hunger. It's really uncomfortable. I am afraid of being broke. I always pray to have enough money to support myself and my family.

That's the spirit of contentment. In this world, survival counts, just like the way you feel.

Yes, we shouldn't limit our world by the past experiences that we have to limit our life to pains and hurts. hehehe :D
Optimism is the key, you can be happy despite the fact that you are broke or you have been broken. Well, the natural reaction would be to be so down and sad. That's normal, but it's no longer normal if it's already a week or a month. Its already your choice to be sad, because emotions don't last that long, choices and decision do. So if you want to be happy, then choose and decide to be.
God bless you!

Mind setting, yes! Optimism is one of the healthiest character that we should have. Specially today wherein the world that we live in is full of stress and disappointments. We should know how to defeat the negative thoughts and to always look on the bright side.
God bless you too!

It is hard to be happy when you are broke. Having food, clothing and shelter I know I am not allowed to complain. But it does take more than that to raise a family.
When money is low, we focus on trying to be grateful. When things are different, and there is a little bit extra, you can really see how much stress is relieved.
The answer is not to live for money, but rather learn to be very wise in what you do with the money that comes your way. If you fail at that, you just might pay the rest of your life.

Glad to know that, being broke brings a lot of stress in ones life, we just need to learn on how to positively deal with it and appreciate the other resources that we have. Then work to avoid being broke again.

It's hard to be happy when you are broke. The most important thing in this world is MONEY.. Like it or not. For some they may say "no" there are other things more important than that.. But practically it is..
We all need to eat, have shelter and needs to sustain life and in order for us to fulfill our basic needs we need money. So if you are broke,.. I don't think you will still manage to be happy at least maintain happy or even maintain "ALIVE"... Honestly that's a fact.

"As long as you have someone you will not be broke". This is really true, I've been broke many times but I still managed to survive and be happy because of my friends and family. I hope everything's well with you.Have a great day!

Hell yea I'll be happy!! There's nothing wrong with having no money, just as long as you have friends and family who you can trust and rely on! I have a friend who sleeps in a library most days because he doesn't have enough money at the moment for his own place... he's one of the happiest people I know!
As long as I'm not hurting anyone else by being broke, or am dragging people down with me, I would still be happy!
Wouldn't it be a great feeling too, to know that you were broke and afterwards made something of yourself..? I'd feel pretty motivated! Just don't get stale, that's what I feel makes a big difference in happiness. =D
