It's said we need 8 to 9 cups, or in other words 2000cc water a day. We lose water every second through our breath, perspiration, urine and bowel movement...we have to replenish water for our body to function properly.
I drink much, probably more than 2000cc a day. I have to drink that much and frequent otherwise i feel thirsty soon. I'm afraid there may be something worng with me.
So, what about you? How much do you drink? Do you drink that much?

Drinking a lot of water a day makes you healthy. 8 to 9 glasses is ideal. Going beyond that does not mean dangerous though. experts say it would even be better for the kidneys to be cleansed so even if you drink much a day, it is good to your health. However if you have a heart problem, be careful of overload. Your heart might be drowned.

My girlfriend told me that we are supposed to drink half of our body weight in pounds, in ounces. So I weigh about one hundred and fifty pounds so I should probably be drinking roughly seventy five ounces of water a day. I carry around a nalgene bottle all day usually that holds about thirty six ounces of water so if I can manage to drink two of those a day plus some then I will be doing great on my daily water supply.
Unfortunately sometimes when I'm working or in class I'm a little bit too busy to take a second to drink some water.

There are a variety of reasons to drink plenty of water each day. Adequate water intake prevents dehydration, cleans out the body, and promotes healing processes. Substituting water for beverages high in calories can also help control weight. Follow the steps below to make sure you're getting enough of this most basic necessity.
Drink water before, with and after every meal; it will help you to prevent overeating and obesity. Eat slowly, drink water and you will get satisfied with less food. But as with everything, be careful and don't overdo it. Drinking too much water can be toxic, so exercise moderation. Water is not a substitute for food, and you can indeed cause severe health issues if you drink too much water daily, including severe heart and endocrine system problems. And make sure that you consult your physician before you make any radical lifestyle changes!

I'd say as winter is approaching I am maybe drinking 6 glasses of water a day. I drink the 8 or more in the summer. It's hard to drink alot in winter I find I don't want something cold and other than my 2 cups of tea there's nothing I care for to be warm. Alas I still have to keep plucking away as my carpel tunnel and other functions need a good amount of water or I can truly feel it! So don't forget that you need all that water for good digestion as well!

I drink 8-9 or may be more than that in a day. every time I leave my desk, drink some water and that chain goes for the complete day. That way I will drink enough water and have to leave my desk by force in every 30 minute or near to that.

Though you're intake of water is not normal for others, i think that's the best. In my case, i was not used to drink much water, maybe that's the reason why i didn't have a great skin hehe...what you are doing is great. It will also help you lose weight. So continue what you are doing. It is part of cleansing the body , as well. Have a good day!

I drink water at least 6 to 8 glasses a day. Before, I really don't like drinking water. There were days I only drink 2 glasses, the rest of my fluid comes from fruit juices or softdrinks. Then, I had urinary tract infection or UTI. It was usually recurrent. My doctor advised me to drink plenty of water, avoid salty foods, and take her prescribed antibiotics. I got used to drinking that much of water because I got nervous that my UTI would end up as a kidney disease or worst, failure. Now, I don't drink much softdrinks and juices, I try to avoid them as much as I can. I also avoid eating salty foods and cut up my consumption of junk foods or chips. Now, I can say I love drinking water. =)

I try my best to drink at least eight glasses of water everyday.
If I cannot drink eight glasses of water in a day, I sometimes supplement it with other juice drinks.
It is best to be hydrated always.

I am experiencing the same condition with you. I guess drinking too much becomes a habit in my life for 10 years since I been diagnosed with depression. I tends to drink to fulfill my loneliness and makes me contented somehow.
Lately I drink until 16 cups a day and I am afraid I say that I feel thirsty if I do not drink that amount. That said I must change my habit or I will gain water weight sooner or later.
Once, I was going to the shopping toilet and pee and after that I see my stomach was shrinking. I confirm that I put on water weight.
So guys and gals if you are concern of the beauty of your body don't drink so much like me. Otherwise you will get bloated easily.
CONTROL :)

As much as I can drink. But it is imperative to drink not more than the body requires. I read something about a girl who got blind after drinking more water than usual.

i usually drink that much especially when i am in the period of lifting weights. But recently when i slow down on the muscle building thing because of school work i also stop drinking so much water. But like how you bring it up it seems i will have to start it again.

I drink over 2.5lt per day. No soda, no juice just water. I drink 1/2 litre when i wake up in the morning. I dont drink all of the water I need per day all at once instead i divide the amount i need and drink several glasses of water throughout the day. This makes me feel my body lighter and also it helped to reduce my skin problems.
