i use facebook for keeping in touch with my friends and my family. i don't always get to talk with my friends so facebook is a good way to know what is up with them. i also like using it for searching for my long-lost friends.

well, me, i just search for names that i remember then when i find them, i add them up. i don't actually like chat with them all the time, but it's nice to find them and be updated with them.

I would like to do that but I don't have any friends that sit still long enough to get on facebook. I'm serious 2 of my best friends are flight attendants and when they're not on call, they're sitting at the beaches in Hawaii or somewhere!

I use facebook only to see what my friends are doing!!
I enjoy their interactions and I only respond to them when it is really needed.

I keep up with a friend from Oregon, one from Montana, one from Florida and hope to find some of my other friends from when I was in the military in Europe.

Hello Chrystaltears,
I use facebook to check in my two daughters and leave messages for them. I upload my articles or link to them. I chat with friends I made over the years and lost contact but either I find them or they find me. Sometimes I use for resources or ideas on how to do something better or read other people chatter on life or problems. Sometimes I talk to my brothers or sisters etc... or meet knew people.

Wow. Facebook is very advantageous. You have alot of good uses on there. I guess that why post offices are having a difficult time, you think?

I go on there very infrequently. If I go to a site that asks me to like something, then I stay on facebook for a little while. I've been on there so few times, that a guy I was in the army with in Germany had written on my wall and asked if I was the one he knew over there. It was 4 months from the day he posted it until I saw it. So, you see, I'm not around there much.
