Do you get angry quickly? Do you have days when you snap at everyone including the dog? I’ve had days like that usually due to a late night the day before! (LOL)! Tiredness does it for me.
There are a couple of people who lost their temper and I would guess that hunger does it for them.
The first story is about Toledo eighteen year old Aaron Williams who stabbed his mum because she had a cheeseburger and he was hungry! He had spent all the money she had given him on weed which he had been smoking all night so consequently had the so called ‘munchies’ and his mother had the audacity to brandish a burger in front of him and didn’t get him one! He is now facing assault charges but the interesting part is that after he stabbed his mother she pulled out her own knife and cut him on the hand so he ran off but was eventually caught. He apparently had the audacity to phone mum the next morning from jail asking for bail!

Another story is the one about 32 year old Fernando Guzman Cruz who is accused of hitting his wife after becoming enraged because she ate all the French fries! He apparently swung a wooden 12 inch bat around while yelling and throwing things around their trailer in Indiantown. He was heavily intoxicated but what astounds me is that although he had been arrested four times before for domestic violence in 2008 the wife didn’t press charges then and refused to prosecute this time!

Wow…This guy liked his fries! What sets you off? Or are you one of these calm collected types who float through life with a smile? Me? Animal cruelty infuriates me, hold me back if I witness someone deliberately hurting an animal! And…Oh…Watch out if I’m tired!

I did! You are right it is amazing! Can hunger send a person over the edge? I've heard of a woman who called emergency services because she got the wrong burger at McDonalds! It is a crazy world that we live in, that's for sure...Thanks jahernandezrivas and CatLady!

Oh yeah! I relate to that one! I would probably relate to the guys in the news story too if my blood sugar level was low enough, although I'm not so sure I would stab or bash anyone...I hope not! (LOL)! At least I'm over the P.M.S. stage! Thanks Elic!

Yes I agree these guys have serious issues going on. I get snappy and grumpy when I'm tired or unwell too and I feel guilty when I overreact but after hearing about these incidents I don't feel so bad! Never let them miss out on their fast food is all I can say! Thanks gabs!

I never got angry right away. The things I experienced that made me angry are weird things that people think they can do to me. For example, there was a period of time that young people entertained themselves sneaking up behind people and screaming in the ear. Another shoved her iPod or whatever it was in my face when I put my headphones on when someone started playing their "music" unnecessarily loud (which shouldn't ever be done in our transit system.)
It is only on reflection on their actions when I seethe. Why do people think they have the right to do ... Let me strike that ... Why do they think that it is right to do this to another person?

I understand what you mean...It is when people enter into your space and act inappropriately that can be infuriating and that is the problem what makes these individual think they have the right to infringe on another person in such a manner? A lot more serious than someone stealing some French fries that's for sure! Thanks for your response Qaeyious!

Unfortunately, it's a little too late for that mom. What a sterling contribution she's made...

These stories may be considered funny if they were not true. So dysfunctional and awful families. I wish that the wife had left her abusive husband though. The mother who drew out her own knife should tell us something - although under the influence of ganja the son had learned this type of behaviour. God help us in this sometimes crazy but wonderful world.

Forgot to add is that what sends me into a rage is witnessing any form of child abuse. I was an abused child and all the emotions seem to rear up again in my heart.

That is understandable cynthiann...I agree with you...The mother who carried a knife herself is significant to her son's behaviour...I know we may have a chuckle as we read about these incidents but the lives of those involved are not funny and need urgent psychological help! Thanks for the response.

Everyday I read many nasty happenings in our lunatic world. People are turning their life into barbarians without respect of the law and order of the country. Sadly, patience and tolerance are in short supply and that is maybe part of the reasons why people turned aggressive causing a chaotic society.

I think there have to be much deeper issues with individuals like these and I do wonder if part of their problems are a sign of the times...I always feel guilty when I get snappy or short with people but after reading these stories I don't feel so bad! Thanks for responding zandi!

I saw the story on the dumb 18 year old on the news last night and the mother says she's cutting all ties to her son from here on out. I applaud her for doing that but I don't think it'll hold because that's her son and no matter what he does, right or wrong, she'll let him back into her life again eventually. I hope not unless IF and I say IF in a strong sense he straightens his life out and goes on the straight and narrow.
Now I didn't see about the man and his french fries but gee me daises!! What's the hell is wrong with people these days? I can find much much bigger things to be upset about but over french fries? Good grief!!
Like you, animal cruelty gets under my skin in the worst of ways! However, I'll say this, mess with my man, my family or friends, my money, any animal will get me riled up in a heart beat!

Wow...they do like their fast food..lol...Animal cruelty sets me off too. Another set off for me is older people...I think they should be treated well...very well... and I can't stand if they are not. Children are another soft spot for me.

Ia agree...The individuals in the stories have obviously got other issues going on. I just hope the women involved with them don't hang around too even the mother because these guys need help, that's for sure! I also hate children and animals being deliberately hurt! Thanks for response Jen!
