Started using mylot in 2005 and back them there were plenty of active members and there use to be plenty of new discussion and answers . Of late i don't see many discussion being created nor do i find many active users replying to the discussion. DO you also feel the same or is it just that i haven't used it lately and just taking time to feel at home with the most reputed money making site online

i do not think that the site is fading out, i just started a month or two back and i am seeing lots of new members here. this is a very intriguing site everybody following the guidelines and following an etiquette. i see many great discussions here and lots of people replying, keeping the thread going on, passing profound information. this is a stupendous site to look at..... it feels great to be part of such a nice community....

I tend to see lots of people and lots of discussions. Maybe you need to try some new thing on mylot - look in some new areas. You could also contact your mylot friends and see what is going on, or try to come up with creative discussions to draw people out. Hopefully mylot is strong.

I'm on it everyday, or almost everyday. I reply more than I start because I'm better at it. My started discussions usually don't attract comments (there were a couple of exceptions) but maybe I'll eventually get better at it. Or maybe I'm still earning even though no one replied? Only an administrator will know for sure. I can only do my part. The other 200K+ members need to do theirs'.

It depends on the topic, I guess. Even now some topics get many responses whereas some don't get even any. I think if it's a topic that concerns people's lives and that which affect them then people will want to have a say. That's the way I take it.

Might be that is your present feeling and observation because since 2005 instead of changes you expected lossing something is the result, your comparing then and now. Anyway since I'm new here for almost 2 months now, I cannot say big changes may be I can say that if I'm stay atleast for a year... May you see some of the discussion are not in your mode or interest to response... some are re-cycle or some are familiar to you... see you around

I'm new here, about less than a month since I have started. I am sure that Mylot.com is still strong and is going strong since the membership still grows. About people leaving, going, and coming...It is a trend for everybody. If there are other things which will make us busy for a while then we need to prioritize things and then we might take aside the use of Mylot.com. I feel that it is going to be here for a longer period of time since it is one of the informative, interactive and opportunity-giving website. The discussion nowadays are somewhat different than before. There are rules about posting discussions right? One of them is duplicate posting of same topic of different author. So, we can not start all over again the same discussion even if how good it is. So what to do? Just open new discussions, meaningful or not and should have at least content and taste. That's it.

i've never really noticed what your saying about not as much activity, but it may be because you can't really make that much from mylot. i would think more activity would be going on with all the increases in members.

Hi nitish, how you doing today? I can see only 954 beside your username, this gives me the feeling that you are using a different id than which you have started wid mylot. I am with site sincd 2006. I was most active in 2008 and that time alo I could see the number of new discussion boing down but that stood there only for a while. I coild see after a month or two people giving quality discussion. This will happen again. I don't know if you noticed it or not but there was a time when top discussion used toget more than1000 responses but these days we can't see that numbers with any discussion. This shows that these days people are creating more discussion rather than responding. I think its just the time and it will pass away soon. PS : I am using mobile device to respond hence could not divide my response to paragraphs.

Yah I had a different id back then and basically i too just surf for valuable discussion and don't make many posts, i am not interested in the money from the site just the wealth of knowledge which I go after here at mylot.

Hello Niitesh, I KNEW IT! Mylot did start in 2005, wow am glad that there's a witness here. Probably you haven't been hanging out much lately, but there's still more topics that are discussed here compare to other sites around. well, i prefer now than before since trolls are more rampant back then

Sorry about this...my 3 year old daughter is quicker than I am. Anyways, I was about to say that I don't think Mylot is fading.Albeit I am not here for very long but I can sense that it is very active . The posters might have come and go but Mylot remains busy... I guess, you have that kind of feeling because you are not so active here like the way you used to. The flame burning inside you for Mylot isn't that hot anymore and it is starting to die down (?) . I hope not.... Maybe, when you begin to get active here again, you will feel the same excitement and thrill you used to have . Try to rekindle your love affair with Mylot and we'll see what's your opinion next time.:)

In my opinion very little has changed when it comes to the activity on this site. i still think Mylot has a very active membership. Also, there are people who have been here a very long time and are just as active as ever. I also disagree about the amount of discussions .There are plenty of discussion topics, the problem i see is that a good portion of these are just not that interesting or well thought out.The one line discussions,or really irrelevant ones where a simple question is asked as in "what's your favorite" whatever kinds of questions. There just seems to be more and more of these and it can become very tiresome trying to find the really good ones. But all in all,in my opinion Mylot' still one of the best when it comes to discussion websites.

I've been here only a few weeks so I couldn't really compare, but I do notice that the posts are getting low and they're just repeating what was already posted earlier. That's why sometimes I couldn't make a response because I made one already from another member. :( I hope somebody would post something really interesting every day.

I am brand spanking new here; I just signed up today. However, this idea of discussion sites (I joined because the discussions looked good, I have no dilusions of making my first million here haha)fading is common. I think it is sort of like how TV ratings are going down because there are just more choices and people can choose to watch exactly what they want when they want. Websites like this one, Soulpancake, etc seem like they are fading, but in reality the audience is just more fractured than before. I could be wrong on this, but it just seems to come up a lot and I have actually given it legit thought. I guess the alternative answer could be that it actually is fading into the ever growing internet background.

Mylot is not the one fading but just people since we know that members here do come and go and we cannot just say that members are going to be focused only on one money making site. I myself am busy with work so I am also not that regular here in Mylot. I can only do visit here if I have the time. But for sure I will never leave Mylot because this is one site that I have learned a lot on how to make money online.

I don't know what it was like then, but from what I see now, it is definitely very active site. In true honesty, it is very rare to find another website with such high level of interactions between users.

You are in mylot for 5years but I see only 954 besides your user name, maybe you visit mylot only once in a while so you don't see the progress on it. Me, I just sign in three weeks ago, and so my feeling of mylot is not fading.
