I'd rather do nothing than do something I know I don't like... :D

This "saying"/quote is taken from the movie "What Happens in Vegas". And it's one of my favorite quotes. If only life was that simple... If people can choose to not do the things they do not like. But life is hard, and sometimes people are forced to do things they don't like...for reasons that are so many. Have you ever done something that you did not like? I've done lots of things I hate... But I also think that choosing to do those things makes me a better person because i learn from my mistakes and stuff..

Hello lady1993
Personally i already did alot of things that i dont like but since the need to do them is inevitable theres just nothing that we can do about it.
When things like these happen i just think that in life there are options that doesnt involve chosing wheather you like it or not, most of the times the option that we get is we dont like it and we dont like it more... so whatever you choose you still dont like it.And then after choosing i just make the most out of the situation and try to move on as much as i can. Life can be really unfair i know thanks for asking and have a great day

Haha, I definetly like that saying as well. However, just as you said, it is quite impossible to ignore all the things you don't like doing and run away from the situation. I don't like going to work every saturday (I'm a student), but it keeps the finances up and makes me able to buy a little more things than usual.
But well since it doesn't give me that much money, I don't always feel like going, giving my day up for a lousy budget^^ But after a while I was able to have fun in what I was doing and that was holds me up.
It's just the same as school in some way, trying to put the positive things that will have a result later, in front of quitting school just because you don't like it.
I assume really going to work throughout the week is just the same, no result without any (hard) work, even though it differs from person to person.
It's true that doing those things you don't like make you a better person and make you learn important life lessons. I've learned several of them as well myself.
All the best, and try to see the best in everything ^^

I still have not give up. I think I will move on until I succeed someday.
Hope you will too. Good Luck!
