Nokia N-Gage - The N-Gage is a mobile telephone and handheld game system by Nokia, based on the Nokia Series 60 platform, released in October 2003. It began sales on October 7, 2003. The N-Gage QD replaced the original N-Gage in 2004.

N-Gage attempted to lure gamers away from the Game Boy Advance by including cellphone functionality. This was unsuccessful, partly because the buttons, designed for a phone, were not well-suited for gaming and when used as a phone the original N-Gage was described as resembling a "taco".
I am still using my Nokia N-Gage and it has been with me for seven years. I really like its features. The keypad is really designed to handle a lot of button pressing and the layout of the keys are quite convenient for gaming as the phone is designed for gaming. It can play videos, music and display pictures, a feature that most mobile phones would have now-a-days. It can also surf the net but, I don't do it that much as it consumes the money that I load in it. It doesn't have Wi-Fi, something that I really want in mobile phones in case I'd purchase a new one. It can't take pictures which is also something most cameras available have. I don't like how it looks when you answer calls. Its better if you would attach a head set to it but, the head set for this kind of Nokia model is already phased out. I basically use it as a phone as well as a dictionary most of the time.

I actually have another phone like that, in case the one that I am using decides to retire on its own. But, most of the time, when a phone is just not working on its system, you'd just have to bring it to technicians that do phone repair and they'll re-flash, as they would refer to what they do, or upgrade the firmware in case there is an upgraded version available for your phone. When it actually has hardware problems, I might probably replace it with an entirely different phone. One hardware problem that old Nokia phones would have would be on its charging slot. Old models would have that needle-like piece inside the slot that connects with your charger. I think I broke it off but, luckily, I was able to remedy it by replacing it with a short but thick piece of paper clip (^_^") You can still see those models out there and the highest price that I got to see from those kiosks would be Php 1,500 when you try to sell them that model. Perhaps they'll sell it at a higher price if someone would be looking for that particular model. I think I'll just sell what I have if ever I really need the money. Then again, with abundant features that phones have recently, I guess selling or even buying this model from Nokia at such places would be just an interest and not necessarily a luxury..

yeah, not really a luxury. back then it was, but now, it's just one of the older and outdated models. but i still want it anyway. i just don't know if it's still practical to buy it. i already ave two phones and another one that i don't use anymore. maybe when i have extra money and i find one in good condition, i'll buy it. :)

that's a phone i wanted when i was in college! sometimes, i would still look for it, thinking it might come really cheap now. since i couldn't afford it back then. i really like the looks of this phone, sadly, i couldn't find one that's in good condition anymore. yeah, not having a camera's a bummer though. wifi's a requirement for me, but being an old model, it's understandable that it doesn't have it. :)

I always like Nokia cell phone. So I get a N70 cell phone now. I am very satisfied with it. Because it have a lot of function which i need. For example, my phone can browse internet via opera mini, filter income call by Advance Call Manager, take picture, file manager, listen to music, chat with Yahoo, Gtalk, MSN,...If I have been given a choice, I will also chose Nokia Branch!

yeah, nokia phones are really user-friendly. my only problem with them is that they depreciate so easily. nokia always has a new model out, so even if your phone is brand-spanking new, there's always something that is newer and better.

My cellphone is Samsung I900. I like it very much. I can install many software for it and then it is very useful. I can also access internet by its Wifi connection. I often use my cellphone to surf the net, listen to the ebooks and watch movies. I love China

The type of phone I am using right now is a smartphone, and it is a samsung fascinate, one of 4 galaxy s phones. It has lots of features, one being it has a touch screen, a 2 gigahertz processor, wifi, gps and many others. I haven't had it all that long, but I have been enjoying it a lot, and I am glad I bought it. It is the first android phone that I have used, and I must say, that I like it much better than the windows phone. It has lots of apps just like the iphone, and I do like to check and see what is new from time to time. It doesn't have full flash yet, but once the system gets updated to android 2.2, then it will, but in the meantime, I am having fun with it. Take care, and have a very good day.

that sound like a good phone. i wanted a galaxy phone, but it's too expensive for me. so i opted to buy the cute phone that i wanted since it has wifi anyway. and that's pretty much what's important for me in a phone. :)
