How much do you love yourself? Do you really love yourself? What do you do to show that you really love yourself? I do love myself but sometimes i do love my family too. Instead of buying something for myself, i buy something for my family. Instead of spending my spare time to things i enjoy, i spend my time helping my family do the household chores and baby sitting. sometimes i hate myself being like that but it's that is me. I am happy with it.

I admire your love and dedication to your family. That's indeed a different level of happiness. I think it's important to love one's self. It is essential because how we perceive ourselves affect how others perceive us. If we don't love ourselves first, then others might just take us for granted or they may not treat us the way we deserve to be treated. How can other people accept us if we can't accept our own selves. This is a problem encountered by a lot of people, they don't love themselves for who they are, they're not comfortable with their own skins. This is one of the major causes of personality problems. This is part of many social issues that needs to be addressed as well. I love myself but I don't love myself too much. I think it's also important not to love ourselves too much that we end up being self-centered or selfish or become narcissistic. Like what other people say, "too much of anything is bad". We should also give or share some love to other people who are special in our lives, our families for instance. It's okay to love them so much but we also should not forget about ourselves to the point that we are unhappy and unsatisfied with our own lives. It's not bad to think of our own happiness at times. It's important to have balance in our lives. Besides, being happy is something we owe to ourselves somehow. =)

Christ himself said you must learn to lovey yourself so you know how to love other people. I was very shy and withdrawn when I marry an extrovert and cockeyed optimist. He taught to like and love myself as I am unique one of a kind, God made each of us a bit different and He did not make inferior goods. I show now that I do love my self by being more self confident. I practice thinking I can do this and I can do that.I also show my love for my son and all my friends too.I tell my best friend that I really prize her so much.It is self esteem to dress nicely, be freshly showered, and hair combed so you feel proud of yourself and others can see you do take care of yourself. this in not a selfish love that sneers at others but a love for self that also encompasses all people around you. a self confident happy woman will draw p eople to her and make them at ease. She is not stuck on herself at all but is just self confident. self confident people attract other people too.If I became sloppy and did not wash or comb my hair and wore stained dirty clothes I would soon have people moving away from me as I would look disgusting and not appeal to others at all.

Each one loves himself/herself . This may be proved true in extreme cases (life threatening ). Being loved by others (by doing things for them ) surely makes one more happy than doing things which will make only himself / herself happy .

I do love my self. We should love our self first before falling in love. Because we can never truly love others if we don't love our self.

I am not that sure about the answer. You know, I always care about friends so much that sometimes i feel so frustrated when they get upset. I will do anything i can to get them happy again, even though me personnally feels unwilling to do such things. However, I can't confirm that I don't love myself because of that. I feel happy to make them happy. I guess caring for others is another way to love yourself.

The Bible says to do unto others how you would do for yourself. How can you love others if you don't love yourself? Of course there are people who are just lovers of themselves and therefore are very selfish people. If we were all selfish i think there would be more strife in this world because there would be no compromise; just everyone fighting for their own wants and needs. So yah love yourself so you can love others; not love yourself only!

Of course! I love myself very much. I love myself by rewarding myself sometimes for a job well done. I also give to my family but also spare something for myself. I also need something for me to have motivation or sometimes a pat on the back. If I wont love myself, then I will not be capable of loving others, and others will not love me too.

I really loved my self sometimes.I am also loving my family tenderly.I believed that I should balanced the way you loved.Maybe too much love can kill you. There are instances that my friend care and loves her family more than herself,at the end when she lost her job no one cares for her.She is helpless now.I tend to visit her sometimes.I t just showed that a BALANCE in to it.

sometimes we say we really really love ourselves but in the reality we are unconscious of what we are doing and in fact we do not know that is already killing ourselves..so true!!!!!!!!!

I love myself. I want myself to be content and comfortable and happy and to love and be loved. I wouldn't do the things I do if I don't love myself. There's no shame in loving one's self, just like everything else as long as it isn't too little or too much, you should be fine.

Yes, i do love myself of course. I buy the things I want to satisfy my needs. I also relaxed my self for sometime to free myself from stress. I hate being stressed out because it is very heavy in feeling.

We have to be open and honest about our feelings. If we don't love ourselves, how can we expect to be able to love anyone else. i don't think it is being conceited to admit love for yourself. it is just being honest.

Yeah...of course I love myself. What I believe, if I cannot love myself, I could never love anyone else. I help my family because I love my family, I spend my times with my family all because I love to see their smile. Sometimes its really hard to do something that my family wants but still I try to do in that way and make me feel comfort by creating a sense that all im doing are for my family, the family that brought me to this beautiful world, raise me, educated me, and loves me more that anything. This family has formed with some people who are my closed person, who can sacrifice their life for me so I always feel good when I do something for my family, parents, relatives and friends. Its for my mental satisfactions, it gives me pleasure, unconditioned happiness. It gives rest of my soul.
