How much is too much?

How can he expect her to pay for him a vehicle when he has never paid her back for all the money he has gotten from her?
Mom got him and his ex wife out of jail after they fought! She gave them money and told him to pay her back they never did. She has done so much for him but he never pays her back. He acts like she owes him! So how much is too much? Would you feel like you had to do something to help someone that won't help himself? What would you tell someone that came to you with this?

I would tell them that I have helped over and over again. I cannot and did not work to give away my money, especially when it does not get paid back. They have to set their mind to helping themselves before I would give them any more help. We are going through that with my daughter right now.

Hi Thoroughrob. That is my thoughts too. He got rid of his wife thank God she was a real pain in the bottom. She got a check once a month but didn't offer to help pay mom back and that upset us. We live on a fixed income and mom helps us but we always pay her back. I hope you get through this with your daughter.
