Working as a translator online

Hi fellow myLotters!
I'm a freelancer illustrator, but recently I've been also considering doing some translation work online, since I'm fluent in 3 languages and I thought that might help me get some extra money.
The only site I've been using so far for that is Freelancer.com, but I haven't had any luck being chosen for projects. I've browsed the net for other sites for freelancer translators but none of the ones I found were free to join (or were, but in that case you could only post job offers, not look for work).
So, does anyone know any nice, free sites I could use? Also, any advice/tips on the whole thing?
Thanks in advance!

wow that is great that you are good at three languages. I can only speak one international language and that's English. I think you should try odesk. It is also a freelance site where you can get online jobs. It is free to join. Above all, there are lots of available jobs that you can apply to. You can also post your portfolio, and enhance your profile in order to attract or impress employers to get the job you applied. www.odesk.com is the site. Hope it could help. =)

I can speak Catalan (my native language), Spanish and English, but I'm currently also trying to learn Swedish :)
Also, thanks a lot for your suggestion! I'm joining the site at the moment, hopefully I'll be able to find some work there.
Take care and thank you for your reply!
