What do you do when you're upset ?

There are always times where I get so upset with something and the thing that i would do is just to go home,tuns the music on with piano instrumental love songs,turns off the big lights and just do with the lampshades then crwal to my bed and just stay still.Then eventually I will feel better or otherwise I fall asleep and wake up with a brighter mood.How about you? How do you handle the situation?

I will turn on loud speaker of the computer and listen to songs which makes me feel happy. I am a mood person. When I hear music I feel happier. Because I imagine I was singing with the singer. Doesn't it funny? I laugh and I cried until the music end.
After that, I took a bath and eat my dinner and goes to my computer again to surf the net. It has always been like this and I am always recover the next day.

Oh funny to imagine you singing along laughing or crying at the same time with the loud music.Though I'm glad you feel relieved after.Hopefully your neighbor room won't give a knock on your door or better yet wouldn't scream along with you saying HEY,COULD YOU JUST BE QUIET!!!

haha me too. I lock myself in my room, turn off the lights, turn the music on with old love songs. And yeah just lay on my bed and eventually fall asleep. But sometimes I get away from everyone, go on our rooftop and just stare at the sky.

Hey pal,we do have very similar thing in common when dealing with disappointments.That made me smile you know.Me too, i just wanted to be alone and oh, star gazing could give me ultimate healing too.Hey,next time you're upset let me know okay.If I'm down too then let'sgo together.(smiles)

If I have the possibility at the time and place when I got upset, I would listen to my favorite classical music. That would calm my mind down and relax. If I don't have that possibility, I practise meditation. Meditation is a very helpful way to relax and calm down the mind, and keep the thoughts away from those which cause mental disturbances.

mm when i am upset!!well i am upset all the time so the question should be what do you do when the miracle happens and you are happy?
anyway when i am upset i try to practise dangerous sports and hard too to feel some danger and suspense then i take a shower and every thing will be ok

When i am getting upset,i am trying to lying down and close my eyes.When it is possible to hear some ghazals.I feel then slowely good.

It's really but natural to be upset, we are only human. As for my experience, when I am upset, I tend to eat or to crave for something like ice cream, cakes, or bread floss etc. Yes, I know I am an emotional eater, no wonder I am chubby but its the only way to cope up with the disappointment. However, the last time I was upset, I told my friend to go window shop but I ended up shopping for P5,000.00 in one night buying cute blouses but I felt bad after going home and thought if it was the wise thing to do even I have been trash talking while shopping. I'm not going to do it again maybe, drinking a glass of cool not cold water will just do and take a deep breath. Life is what we really make it and the only person to inflict pain is but ourselves because we allow it.

When I am upset I just want to eat and eat so that I tend to forget what makes me upset. I do like pizza and ice cream and also some salad and pastries. I don't want to just sit down and murmur and do nothing like hitting the pillows and get mad.
It does so happen when a woman has her time to get upset with someone she loves and to get it done, when I am alone, it is better for me to just eat, or stroll along the mall and do window shopping. In fact, I really do recommend shopping as an outlet if you really are not in the good mood.

Hi sweetie.
I had always listened to some very loud music.
Lately i am like a freaking sissy or ninny.
Cry like a damn baby, loose my temper for crying then i go to bed.
But to get up in a good mood again, not likely.
Maybe i am getting old or something.

I hate loud music when I am upset... I hate messy things around me when I am upset... I hate crowd around me when I am upset... Yeah.... The negation of all these things is what I would do when i get upset.... I would just sit alone... Listen to either light music(melodies generally) or just turn off the lights and lean on the bed... Just think about whats happening around and whats the matter with my mood... It helps me a lot to get to a better mood... But if I am sad rather than angry... Then if I could get a small nap, it helps a lot....

I usually grab some Deicide Cd's and play it as loud as i can.
That usually helps for me lol.

When i am upset or unhappy, i hurry home. Once i get home , i will go to our room and lock it. I will change into my comfortable house wear and pray. I will talk to Him as if i am asking him to be on my side for that very moment. I will cry and cry until i feel good afterwards.
Then, i will watch TV , one that will occupy my mind and entertain me. Or i will call my friend and share what upset me. When my husband arrives from work i would tell him about it.
Other times, if i have money i will go to the mall and buy something that will make my looks good. Or sometimes i would go to the parlor and have a nice haircut.
I don't want to prolong my being upset, so i will find ways to appease me.

Feeling upset is a negative feeling so I have to get away with it. What I am doing when I am feeling upset is I am looking for an outlet where I will turn my attention to that and make myself busy. Usually, It's my laundry. Instead of washing in it a washing machine , I will handwash it. I don't know but doing it makes me feel released. Have a good day!

When I am upset, I used to switch off the lights in my room and try to sleep. I do not want any kind of noise or music at that time. I just close my eyes and try to count from 100 to 0.
Till today, I have never counted till 0, so it works for me. Or if I can not sleep or I try to watch some movie to change my mood.

This is what I usually do I will get one my romance movie dvds and I will watch a couple of them until I feel good. If that doesnt work I watch music videos on VH1soul that usually gets me back in a good mood. Or sometime like some of you guys I listen to my favourite r&b cd and I am as good as new.

When I am upset especially in my work I go out and take a rest for a while. I'd rather keep silent that talk because if I talk I know my anger will burst and I be hurting people so I just stay calm and try to recover this. I also go to malls or go site see in order to release and forget any anger that I have.
