Has anyone tried Catnip for their cats?!? I hear some cats LOVE it!

What happened?!?
I hear that some cats go CRAZY for it!!
Whilst others don't really mind.
What are your experiences with it..? I'd really love to know! I want to give some to my cats for Christmas!! =D

My cats love catnip and they are very protective of it. As a matter of fact my cat Smyles took the catnip of the table last night and ripped the bag open for him and his sisters. Catnip is very healthy for the cats.

One Christmas we got some catnip toys for our cats and they really enjoyed playing with them for a while, but after a few weeks I think the effect wore off and they basically left the toys alone.
