Or comedian that has commented on politics.
And why? And, if possible, link to an excerpt of them.
For me, I volley a little. My fallback is always Michael Moore, because he his hilarious, and brilliant, and empassioned.
I like Steven Colbert, but the danger with him is that the conservatives can't tell he is being sarcastic, and making a mockery of them.
Right now, the top of my chart is Bill Maher. The man is a genius, and he is very outspoken, which is what we lefties need right now.
I just watched this bit, and it hit home, because a lot of people talk about religion, and falsely accuse you of being a bigot when you point out all the falacies.

I have to agree with Spall on George Carlin. He was the best and he never took sides. Something the others could learn from.
Conservatives can tell Colbert is being sarcastic. Michael Moore a comedian? Since when? My liberal side does like Maher although I don't always agree with him.
I don't believe in religion and no, I'm not an atheist or agnostic.

How do you classify yourself as, if not atheist or agnostic?

I said I don't believe in religion. God is not religion and having faith is not dependent on being in a religion.

I agree with the other two. Carlin was great. I miss him.

I didn't grow up with Carlin so much, but I have youtubed a lot of him ever since I saw his introduction in the movie, "Zeitgeist".
He is wonderful! And refreshing!
