Bath or shower

Friends, this year there was almost no rain in my city, means no rainy season. It is almost middle of November, but there is no sign of cold, the temperature is 30 degree Celsius in day time and drops to about 28 at midnight.
Due to my diabetics I suffer from burning sensation in soles of feet and too much sweating. So in the morning I take a through bath using an herbal soap, usually sandal or jasmine scented. Again prior going to bed I take a long shower, if I can’t do for any unavoidable reason, I can’t sleep well.
What is the weather at your place now? Do you prefer a bath or a shower and how frequently? Do you use hot water or water at room temperature? Many sing in bath room and carry their cell phone. Do you?
I bath and shower with water at room temperature only; don’t sing in bath room but I carry my cell phone and spectacles there.
Share your bathing experience too.

We are not really in a drought, but it has been dry for about three weeks. It has been warmer than usual as well. Last night the rain began, and we also had thunder and lightening. The temperatures dropped quite a bit as well. I take about one shower a day at this time of year. Other times of the year when it is really hot I might do more. Your herbal soaps sound wonderful.

@AjaySinghBaghel : Very nie post Sir. You reminded me of singing in bathroom in my college days.
I love to take bath and shower both. As one of our friend said bath can save water. So my vote goes for bath.

Shower, are you kidding me? I don't have time to take a bath. I am always in a hurry, I have to take a shower. Also, with bathing, I hear that it like washing yourself in your own germs and junk that you have on your body from the day. Taking a bath is not for me, I prefer showers.

hi professor I am also a diabetic and did have a lot of foot pains at first then I lost a lot of weight and they stopped. I have been very fortunate that way. I take a warm shower as it's too hard for me to get into a tub because I do not have back the use of my left arm. I broke my shoulder three years back so badly they had to install a shoulder joint replacement of plastic and steel. I had a long period of physical therapy but it just did not give me back hardly any use of my left arm. the climate here in Southern California at night has been unusually cold, down to 40 Fahrenheit which is getting close to freezing and that's not typical of Southern California. we do get cold nights in January and February but not in November as a rule.

Weather is very pleasent in Pune and that is the primary reason for me to love this city. It has been 5 years in this city and every year weather is changing that is not so good however it's still good.
it's cold here but not much like delhi or other part of the north India.
I always take bath with the natural water wheather it's cold or warm, does not matter much to me. I sing in the bathroom for sure however outside as well but bathroom gives some echo sound and because of that I feel my voice is better than any other singer in the country .
Thank you for sharing your experience Sir, have a great day ahead.

Hi Professor, It's starting to get cold here now but it's also sunny. I like to take a shower every day although I miss some days. I prefer warm water when showering. I don't sing in the shower unless no one is at home because my singing is very poor, and I don't want anyone banging on my door lol! Blessings.

It is cooler now and I even our tap water is cool in the early morning so I don't need to worry about sweating. But I usually take a bath and shower at night. This also helps me to sleep better and feeling comfortable.
I don't take any mobile with me because we do have a studio type flat. I just wish there is an american type of toilet though, but anyway maybe if we have our own place I will be adding even a good tub and bidet.

It is starting to get cooler outside now as is more typical of this part of the year. For the next few days the temperature is supposed to be in the fifties during the day and cooler in the evening. When it comes to rather I prefer baths or showers, I really love nothing more than taking a nice, long bath. However, I also enjoy a shower when I am able to take a hot shower with a massaging shower head.

i've spent this year in several places across the country. so i've experineced different weather and climatic conditions. as far as my native place is concerned, it has rained for most parts of the year so far. in fact, there were floods in many places. it flooded twice in our area and the last one was in october. so the weather's been not very hot. by the way, my native place is known for its pleasant climate. but temperature has been rising in the past several years with peak temperatures between 30-35 degrees Celcius in the summer. winters are cold and chilly and i'm sure it has started to set in there by now.
i use cold water in summer and other seasons. even in summer our main tank water is quite cold. but it's too cold in winter so i use hot water.

Hi, Professor2010!
I didn't have bath (under definition of "dipping myself in water") for roughly 10 years. Since I was thirteen, my family gave up bath because we don't have enough place to build a bathtub in our apartment and don't rest assured that whether the public bathtub is hygienic. I only take shower since that time.

Very sad, you are far from well. Taking bath or shower is necessary for the health of normal people also. But you are sick and you feel its need. As concerned with climate. Weather is hot due to global warming. It is a warning to the people living on this planet. They are using fire and smoke. Machinery made it all these negative effects on the weather of today. November is not cool enough also here in our country. What is its remedy? Get rid of machinery use. But it seems no possible. Global warming is causing dangerous floods and much more disaster like that. We are not doing good with this globe, and it could take the revenge. Global warming is also global warning. Can we understand it professor? Not yet. I think.

I don't take a bath very often. I might occasionally take one, but it's not often. I prefer taking a shower, usually once every two or three days. Sometimes, it's not as often, especially if I'm busy. But I still try to stick to this.

I love both. When I need to wake up I take a shower, when I want to relax I like a bath. But I haven't been able to take baths lately because I live with my mom and she has a tiny hot water heater. We have to wait an hour after each person takes a shower for it to heat up again. And there are 5 people in our house. I'm low on the totem pole for taking a shower because I don't have a job right now. It is definitely rough.

My country is warm for the whole year. It is located within the tropical region.
Normally, our seniors in our family do not encourage us to take too many shower or bath. It is bad to our health.
They believed getting wet of our body to much would cause pain of our body when we are older.
I never believe in it.
In the morning when I wake up, I shall have a shower.
During the night before I go on bed, I shall have another shower.
It is hardly for me to have a bath. There isn't bathtub in my home. It is not economic to have a bath too.
ha! ha! ha!
I normally have my shower with warm water by using the instant water heater.
I shall be refresh better by using cold water for my shower. But I dislike cold water at all.

I'm from the Philippines. It's hot all the time. I would have a bath before going to bed because like you, I cannot sleep well if I don't. don't bring anything when I take a bath or shower since I do it really fast. I don't like staying long soaked in water. I do a lot of things everyday and they say that not good to get your muscles soaked when it's stressed out.
