Hi You
Nice to hear from you, yes I agree with you but the main thing as in my mind is that these eyes glasses give them protection and make them highlighted among the crowed, this give them a differentiation that they are special...
Have nice day friend...:)

Hi Ruby
Thanks for your response and good critical comments, I think this talk is not to hurt some one with special needs, when I started this talk the idea in my mind was to know and to make awareness among all of us and I think I got my results from responses over here.
Before this I was not aware of sun glasses and dark glasses but after discussion over here I came to know that why some special people wear dark glasses and some wear sun glasses.
Then I have not noticed the eyes movement and the effect of light but I came to know after the discussion that there are some special people who are sensitive to light and due to this sensitivity the wear dark glasses.
So I think we should take this discussion in positive way rather than thinking about negativity.
I am sorry for any thing or comment over here that hurt you
Have a nice day dear...

Everyone has the anticipation for beauty,so for them, a sunglass to cover their defect eyes is necessary. On the other side, good appearance is a kind of respect to others, blind persons may think that. And then, some not wholely bind persons may be affraid of sunlight,so wearing sunglasses is a safety-potecting way for them.

When blind people wear dark sunglasses, they may feel better styled and dressed. But the most occuring reason is because they have sensitive eyes that are prone to giving them head aches. Sunglasses block light from entering into the eyes, and this will prevent any aches and pains from happening. I've seen this happen not only in public, but in movies as well. A movie named Black had a girl which was often portrayed with glasses when going outside. Her caretaker put them on her, and it was for protection from light rays damaging her nerves.

Hi Rovered
Yes, you are right but it is not in case of all blind people, only those blind who are partially impaired, they cannot see any thing but they are sensitive to light and their eyes can feel only light so due to this they wear dark glasses but the other blind people only use them as fashion or to hide their eyes movement...:)
Have a nice day...:)

I am as blind as the blind man the reasons why they need to wear spectacles even during the night. Maybe it is only an accessory to conceal their handicap. I have a blind lawyer friend who is a good singer and he use to frequent pubs and sing in the karoke with his sunglasses on. He sings with his focus on the tv screen as if he can read the words displayed on screen as not even a word was missed while he was singing. They might have been deprived of eyesight but they have exceptional antenna to capture the melody of a song and could sing along like any sighted people.

Hi Zandi
Nice to hear from you and I agree with you that these special people have very good observations, as the case of your lawyer friend. I have seen most blind people they have very beautiful voice and they sing very good, in my home town there is a blind man who can sing a song with all music played from his mouth and I was really astonished when saw him doing this.
I think if they have not given one quality they are given with other qualities..:)

I remember asking my mother this question one time when I was a child. She said it was to keep people from seeing their eyes. She said their eyes look bad but that's not always true.

I have to agree with the responses as I do know several people who are blind. I am told that since they can't properly use their eyes the nerves behind the eyes have no control, so they have a tendency to wiggle erratically. So they are aware of this and use the sunglasses to hide the shaky appearance.
Sad for anyone who is blind.

Yes agree with you and I also have observed this thing in special people, but in some they use it purposely because they cannot bear light and use dark glasses to protect from light, but in other blind people they just use it for hiding their eye movement as you said...:)

I think, they do it to cover their eyes. Some blind people have a blurry look eyes, some have small scary eyes, or deformed eyes maybe that is the reason why. TO prevent other people form looking directly to their eye without them seeing it. Or maybe for fashion?

Well Beeh, I agree with you that due to normal custom among society to differentiate between each others such type of things are used, and I think for blind it is the same that they wear Sunglasses so can easily be differentiated
Thanks for response, have a nice day a head...

Hi Duta
Yeah, I agree with this thing that due to their damaged eye shape they may be wearing dark sun glasses, just like normal people if they have any sort of infection or have some damage or defect in their eyes we prefer to hide it from others by wearing sun glasses...
Have a nice day, thanks for coming to discuss...

I agree with the answers above. People in general are easily bothered. The blind people probably find their life easier when they choose to hide their eyes.

Thanks for the response, yes I think it is now normal that we can now differentiate between blind person by his/her sunglasses but do you have incident that thought about a normal person to be blind as by looking at him wearing dark sunglasses...:)
Have a nice day..

Well, i think it's kind of "tradition". You know, like if you someone wearing dark glasses even if it's dark, you would immediately know that that person is blind. And also I think one another reason is because there are blind people whose eyes are quite "destroyed". Alright, I don't mean anything bad here, okay. I mean, there are blind people (and many) whose eyes have a defect appearance. I think that's another reason. To hide that and also because of the tradition of knowing if a person is blind.
Well, these are just guesses but I think they pretty make sense.
