Do you always pay attention to the side effect of which can be caused by using something in excess. For example we all online earners spent hours sitting in front of the computer clicking ads at PTC website, posting here on forums and especially writing articles but we never care for the bad effects this is having in our health even though we are aware of it but do not pay attention until we experience that bad effect.
We all know that sitting in front of the computers many hours and daily, causes eye sight problem. I didnt pay attention to this and now I have realised that I have started getting eye sight problem. Very often I see blurr on the screen, I cannot see properly. Do you think if I stop sitting more than an hour in front of the pc will disapear this problem?

hello monalily!
yes, we must always pay attention to side effects of what we do. In the humdrum of our everyday life, we often forget the consequences of our actions, how it would affect us in the long run.
It's time you realize that it's not really advisable to sit infront of a computer for very long, without breaks. It will definitely harm our eyesight as well as our body. It is advisable to take breaks every hour, standing up and walking to and fro and relaxing your eyes by looking at green trees outside the window. It pays to be wary of these things and what it would do to us in the long run lest we ignore it.

you could try it but you probably need an eye doctor appointment. i think being in front of a computer too much socializing especially on mylot is no substitute for face to face communication. i think doing too much of such a thing could make someone more anti-social.

No. I seldom see side effects of anything I consume. It is not because I'm not aware. I just too lazy to read them all. I just make sure myself that thing I consume is safe. If I'm still doubtful, I won't try at all. I ask people view about thing I consume. If they say that's OK, I'll try. Simple, that's because I don't really concern of the thing I consume.

I do believe that there are bad effects on using a computer in excess but I didn't pay attention to this because I'm working in an office and I'm sitting in front of the computer 8 hours a day and I don't have problems with my eyesight. Maybe I get used to it since I'm doing this for years but there are some precautionary measures we can do in order to avoid bad effects to our health on using the computer daily. Not only our eyes suffered from bad effects but our whole body is affected by the radiation that electronic devices produce. This radiation can cause cancer by damaging our cells in our body. Sea water is proven to decrease radiation in our body thus going to the beach occasionally will actually helps us to avoid this bad effects and also eating healthy foods can alleviate the possibility getting illness.

In Life you've got to pay attention to Whatever is happening. But it is the normal Human tendency to ignore all the stufs when we are deeply engrossed in our activities which we like...and it is not compulsory to sit 1 hr specifically away frm the pc....just 15 mins of break works....bt in dat u should not watch tv and all...just look outside the window,in the sky and feel the breeze or the best option is to wash your eyes with cold water ....it completely relaxes yo...try it..
