UP is labelled as the university of the activists... but in my opinion, as a UP student, we are just trained to speak out and fight for what is right. social injustice is rampant and we, as the product of a premier university and citizens of the country, we should know when and who to help in times of need. As a matter of fact, although there are certainly activist's groups in the university, majority of the students are not affiliated...
so, how about you? what do you think about UP products?

In my observation , graduates of UP are well trained in the area where they specialized. They are equipped with the knowledge and skills they ought to have to work in their field of specialization.
What is also noticeable of the graduates is their capacity to speak out their minds without fear. There is so much freedom in them that sometimes, some are also overusing it. There is no question of their being patriotic, nationalistic but the tag' activists' if used properly, is good. Because it is for the common good and for a valid cause.
I just hope that this should always be observed in staging a cause in public and to avoid violence because it is not good to either party:the stagers and the object.
