People think that the fast food restaurants will lead to many healthy problems. It not only give you weights, but also the terrible health if you often eat it. However, what do you think that some people want to sue McDonald's? I personally think that it is not reasonable to sue McDonald's because today people all know the harmful results from the fast food restaurants. But you just can't resist it and you go there by yourself. Perhaps this is not the restaurant's fault.

Hi You
I agree with you in this because these fast food resturants are working under some laws and the law allow them to do this type of business, if some one is going to sue them it is not reasonable
Now a days we all know the pros and cons of the fast food that how much it is good or bad for us but we still go their to save our time but on the other hand it has some bad effect on our health, but still it is our choice to go there, so If we are using their commodities with our own choice then how can we sue them...:)
Have a nice day...

Yes, I agree with you but you know we have wonderful traditional foods which are always there at our homes. And these foods are always healthy and have good effects on our health as compare to fast food.
So I think we should try our traditional foods instead of fast food or unhealthy food and we should try to go green in every aspect of our life...
Have great day...

I haven't heard of people suing msdonalds because the food is bad. It is really bad for you. I do really wish there were more healthy options out there for fast food. Our society is so go go go.
I've only heard of the lady who sued mcdonalds because her coffee was too hot and burned her. I think she won the case.
People usually sue big coporations because they can make money.

hi youlees you are so ri ght its not the restaurants fault that people eat food thats not really good for them and too even McDonalds has been offerings food that is good for you but again they cannot make people eat the good stuff.A lady here in the U s sued McDonalds for being burned by hot coffee that she herself set between her legs. she won the damned thing and I do think thats bizarre and wrong, anyone with any brains would not sit a cup of hot coffee between their legs. of course the coffee was hot, she asked for hot coffee, the idiot.

Hi youless
This is why we need reform so that people can't sue over every little thing under the sun.
As far as McD and eating goes, I think that it's up to the person to set limits on what they eat.
It should not be big government or some all big bother agency dictating what you can and can't eat.
I got a little of track because that is a subject for another discussion - Sorry?
Take care

I feel that people try to sue fast-food restaurants because they don't serve very many healthy options, and therefore people gain weight. In reality, it's not the restaurant's fault, it's the person's. Nobody made them eat there. These days, almost every restaurant, fast food or not, has nutrition information available, either in-store or online. It's absurd to think it's the restaurant's fault that people who eat there can have health problems. That's like suing Hershey's Chocolates because there is too much sugar in the candy, or suing Nestle because their chocolate chip cookies have too much fat.

People are way to crazy to be suing Mickey D's! I mean, c'mon! It's McDonald's! It's one of the largest fast food chains in the world! Heck, it might even be the largest! I'm just saying, you're walking into battle with nothing in your hands. You're just going to lose and waste money in the process. Besides, these people know of the consequences. McDonald's has nutritional facts everywhere now because they were forced to show the information of their foods. They know the trouble McDonald's can cause to your health, and they decide to do it. It should be their problem. They are aware of the consequences when they eat the food. If people start acting this way, then McDonald's is going to have to have everyone sign a waiver to eat their food! It's a free market! They shouldn't have to.
I also heard about the San Francisco ban on McDonald's foods too. They were saying that it was making their children obese. So, they decided to remove Happy Meal toys unless McDonald's became more healthier.

I think if we really want a happy and healthy populations, we must sue this junk food multi-national companies like McDonalds and many other local restaurants that fill our populations with cholesterol loaded foods which unfortunately we find hard to resist. That would force them to change their food types to a more healthy ones!

You are right. It is kind of frivolous to sue McDonald's for having unhealthy food. McDonalds has some healthy options, and the customer has the choice of choosing healthy, or unhealthy. As far as I know, no one forces people to eat a McDonald's or to make unhealthy choices from their menu.

I think it is a waste of time. The only way they have a case is if they Only had McDonalds food to eat. I mean there were no markets nor other restaurants where they can eat. I Know that isn't true. This case will be thrown out. Besides Mc Donalds has ther calorie count of ever item And healthier fare. So They can try to sue , but they don't have a case.

I don't think it's right to sue anybody at all. It's against the bible. I haven't heard anything about anybody suing MacDonald's. Some people just want something for nothing, though. MacDonald's does have some healthy foods, like the salads and the ice cream desserts. Their ice cream is low fat, too.

I do think this iedea is so radiculous, "Fast food",as its name,it help persons save time and plus energy during the shortest time,so it has no option but adds high fat and high calorific,so it has its adcvatages. It is your choice to accept or deny it,so the fault isn't restaurants'but persons'!

I don't think it is right to sue McDonald's for the reason you have mentioned above. Granted that this food chain is not serving healthy foods, still it is not forcing people to eat their products. If people find that their foods are harmful for their health then they just have to avoid eating those.

Hello youless. I totally agree with you on that point. Since people nowadays are aware of both the advantages and disadvantages of fast food of different kinds or brands, they should think about of it when it comes to their going to consume such fast food. If one is addicted to one special kind of fast food that is not healthy, he or she should try to keep himself or herself away from the temptation of such food. It is not right for them to do things like suing McDonald's because of it. I like McDonald's and would like to visit it once in a while though not often. Take care.
