When I was a little child, I always asked questions to my parents, aunts and almost every people I met. I love to attend church weekly and I love to play with my neighbors. When I was in my preschool age my other siblings and I was left by my parents to our grandma's house because she's a working mom. We play a lot with other child who reside near their house. I have so many wonderful memories during childhood and also unforgettable memories. The thing that I can't forget is when my cousin bullied me and I walk out from my grandma's house and went on my way home alone. I have also experience being beaten by belt of my uncle because he said I refused to follow his rules. I was just a little child who want to play outside house but inside backyard. He told me not to play outside but did so he stroke with his leather belt, it was really painful but I did not tell my mom about cause I was afraid. When I grow up I realized it was wrong to punished a child in such way. So I will be a mother someday I will make sure to protect my child from any abuse.Because that gave me a fear that I still carried until now that I had grown up. How about you, what are the unforgettable experience you had during childhood? Is it good or bad? How does it affects your life?

When I was little, my grandma used to take me and my sister to church every Sunday and buy us ice cream after the services. We would always wear nice girly dresses with stockings and shoes. I got from my grandma the mentality of not wearing flat shoes to special occasions because high heels make a woman feel important. At 6pm everynight, we would gather in front of the altar of our old house and pray the Angelus. My grandpa and I used to watch McGyver and Dirty Dozen till midnight. We also had fun birthday parties and playtimes with the other kids, making little paper boats and planes. Nothing can ever buy a child's precious memories.

I have a lot of happy childhood memories. But as far as "unforgettable" is concerned, it's the "traumatic" ones that stand out--like getting lost in the huge supermarket or almost getting kidnapped. It's this kind of experiences that somehow leave the stronger mark in a person's life.
