So which came first happy or healthy? I think they are interrelated and it is difficult to keep them separated. Do you make sure you are healthy? How important is health to you?

in some cases, health and happiness is interrelated. but happiness is a choice. even if one is ill, he still can choose to be happy. as to your question, i try to be healthy. i have to be healthy because i still have to support a son who is in college.

happy and healthy are interrelated.your health will suffer when you are depressed or worried all the time.your health will also suffer if you are happy but aren't eating healthy and exercising.I believe that being happy can help our mind and soul healthy.a healthy person takes care of all aspects of his/her life.

Happiness is a state and quality of mind of a person. Since mind and body are closely inter-dependent,the condition of one affects the other. In order to remain happy and healthy for longer period, one needs to take care of his/her mind.Health and happiness are the outcome of one's efforts in maintaining balanced and stable condition of mind. Mind being the key to ensure both happiness and good health, all attempts should be made to manage one's mind.Thanks.

They are somewhat interrelated because a person who is not in good health can easily become not happy. But, happiness is dependent on more than health. This is why you see people engaging in unhealthy habits ... trying to make themselves happy. I think happiness is a tad bit more important because happiness feeds the soul - and the souls of those around you.

Hi Lore: I think I'm healthy right now and health is very important for me. I understand why do you say that both are interrelated. however I think that a person that is not completely healthy could be happy if he/ she tries to do this and if he/ she has god on his/ her life. Thanks for asking us this question. Have a nice day. ALVARO

To me, happiness is more important than your health because a short happy life is more important than a long satisfactory life. I agree that they're interlinked because if you are ill, it does bring your mood down but I don't think there is much difference in happiness between a person in a nomral state and a person who is eating a perfectly balanced diet, excersising regularly and all that. As long you are not unhealthy, happiness is all that matters.
