Many people catch a cold by walking in the rain.
What about you?
Do you often catch a cold? If yes, what is, in your opinion, the best remedy? Do you stay at home?
Do you take any medicines for a cold? I usually take pills and syrups.
Do you think that it is possible to prevent colds?

I normally get a cold because the children bring the germs home from school, once there is a cold in the house it tends to og around all five of us before it leaves the house, sometimes we get really bad colds other times the colds aren't so bad.
I don't think you can prevent colds, its just one of those things in life that you can't control

hi lucia2 colds are actually caused not by walking in the rain but by virus, of course walking in the rain will not help the virus that are making you so ill. I take multivitamins daily and also eat all the things with vitamin C in them that I can get.A glass of orange juicer
each morning plus my vitains and some hot oatmeal. just eat healthy with lots of veggies and fruits. re st and take tylenol for pain. drink lots of water to loosen the mucus and also good old chicken noodle soup hot and it will loosen all the phlegm in your throat and make you feel better.I have not had a cold in a whole year. so must be doing something

My brother easily gets sick during rainy days. I think his immune system is low. The best remedy is the principle of yin and yang. If he feels hot, we give him cold (but not too cold) drinks. Lemon juice soothes the throat. We let him eat apple or oranges.
