Climate of china is so abnormal this year,we nearly don't have autumn in the northern of china,it comes into cold weather so soon and the temperature declines to below zero degeree almost 1 month in advance,it is said that the phenomenon will become more serious year by year, and I worry we will lose the beautiful sight of autumn one day,it is a so terrible thing. What is the climate situation in your country and what's the reason of this phenomenon?Pray for everyone!

The climate is becoming more extreme in every part of the world, the problem is very likely due to global warming. If we keep on ignoring the consequences of our actions we can't complain too much when they happen. We want cheap electricity and cheap energy, and then we keep complaining about oil spills, hurricanes and strange weather phenomenons. Every decision has its drawbacks, and our decision to rely on fossil fuels has huge drawbacks.. Too bad it seems that the only important aspect in life is making money regardless of the consequences... So be it.. lets kill the environment and ourself in the project.. It will be a great consolation to know that our own destruction at least brought some increase to the gdp!

Let's hope we will eventually wake up from our greedy and blind selfishness, and try to live harmoniously and in balance with the world we inhabit.

Take it easy,I know what you mean, that's enough. For the cimate issue,I can't understand what the modern citizens are thinking, they even don't take their following generations into account, grabbing and destroying earth as far as they can to get benefits, they are so selfish. But our silent earth are so annoying these years, earhquake, flood and drought are coming one by one,it is alerts earth gives us!Hope kids of earth wake up as soon as possible and save our earth home together!

In my country, droughts and crop failures have been more common. Also the typhoons and storms that have visited us recently have been more vicious and damaging. All of these I think are attributable to climate change.

Here in my part of Australia, we have had lots more rainfall than we normally would get. But perhaps this is actually getting back to the way it is supposed to be after about ten years of dry weather. We are at the start of our wet season now, but the dams are already full and the biggest dam in the region which supplies water to the largest city, Brisbane, has recently overflowed for the first time in ten years. We also had a fairly wet winter which is usually our dry season with not much rain. This climate change is one that is not a crisis but a good one!

The climate is very abnormal this year compared with that in former years.Spring came late, summer was not hot;we hardly enjoyed autumn and winter comes so soon.Heavy rainfalls flooded suburbs around my city, terribly awful.Villagers, under the help of government, had to move into temporary shelters. And then,a chain of reactions occured, say, crop failure, price increase, etc, which is attributable to the serious climate change. But at the end of the day,all should be due to environment pollution made by humankind. No wonder, man is just paying the price of what we have done. This reminds me of a physical law, while an object is exerted a force,it gives a reaction. This law applies to our earth as well.If we treat it well,it will treat us right and vice versa. As one of the numbers,i think we have responsibility to save mother earth. Not only for ourselves, but also for future generation, join us,take action from now on,do not hesitate.Blessings!

Climate Change & global warming are very much inter-related. In Australia, we've seen some of the worst bush-fires ever, preceded by drought conditions & heat waves which made it worse. They called it a "fire storm" & it didn't spread like a normal bush-fire, but leap-frogged tens of kilometers at a time, behaving very unpredictably. I hear in China they have it pretty bad. Beijing's system of aquifers is rapidly drying up. The Yangtze River has been reduced to little more than a trickle most of the year. Didn't China just have the worst drought in five decades? I hear vital crops were lost in the twelve Northern Provinces, costing China billions of US dollars in compensation payouts. Quite a bit of China's water also comes from glaciers, but now about a billion people are set to suffer from the Himalayan Glaciers retreating at a faster pace than anywhere in the world. Two thirds of the region's 18000 glaciers are receding, I hear. First you get destructive floods & landslides & later get reduced rainfall, massive droughts & water shortages. The reason for all this & much, much more is that the earth is warming unnaturally. We did it & we can fix it; with or without government support. I've been presenting the argument ever since I joined My Lot. You can find the causes, consequences & solution here: http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2342355.aspx?p=2

We are also experiencing climate changes here in our country. It's a tropical country and we have two seasons all year-round, wet and dry season. The climate these past few months or I think it started last year have been very inconsistent from what we're used to experience. When we're supposed to have the dry season, we've experienced too much rainfalls and vice versa. We even have had tornado events in some provinces considering that we have never experienced it in our country before. It is really alarming. I guess we are now paying the price of technological advancement and its harmful byproducts. Several organizations are now trying to lead or do projects or events that will help lessen or prevent further deterioration of our environment which can also result to climate change. This is an important issue that needs to be addressed not just by the government but every person around the world. We should at least contribute something to prevent this worsening scenario. =)

I think the government plays a vital role in saving the environment,it can sent order which limits cars' use or wood's consumption etc, together with every single person's action like planting trees or riding bike instead of cars, insisting all of this in long-term,I think the bad situation can get improvment!

I come from a tropical country. The climate here is hot and wet. But lately the weather has been terribly hot as if I have just come out from a hot oven. I remember the weather wasn't that bad before. Now I have to stay indoors most of the time as going out means risking getting sun burned.

HI. Climate change here is getting worst! For the entire year it's like summer though we experienced some rain. It's humid and it irritates me badly. I planted some trees to lessen the heat. I hope planet earth will back to normal again.

I am from the United States and even worse I am from the suburbs around the city. While the suburbs north of New York City are fairly steady climates with little pollution, just to the south is New Jersey. For some odd reason it is called the Garden State. New Jersey air is filled with pollutants and I believe it plays a huge role in the environment. I see the change in the winter. I remember my years in school and think how in elementary school snow days were guaranteed. Global warming or whatever people choose to call it, year after year has helped bring fun winters to slushy and cold rainy mess. The bad air and the depleting ozone of this nation has not helped when it has come to a normal snowy winter.

The climate issue is so tough, sorry to hear that,we have no autumn and you have no winter(ture winter,I think),the climate changing is so obvious these years, maybe it just dues to air pollution as you said, and decreasing of forests etc. What should we do,just advocate persons around us to potect environment and keep the"green"of earth!
