Sims 2 in not good?!

I tried Sims 2, and I really think that it was bad. I expected so much, and I think it couldn't deliver. I think it's look like sims 1 so much, and there is just a little bit of diffrent. What do you think about Sims 2? What had you expected?

see this is what i love about MyLot... people can agree or Disagree with views and its all gravy baby!! LOL its each to their own really luv... I do miss teh Witch's expansion pack from the 1st Sims... they got rid of that all together from Sims series.. I used to love being a witch, casting spells n making people love me without the effort!! YEAH!!!!
Maybe Sims 4?? ;-D

No, it's a very good game. I was playing Sims 1 and a friend brings me the Sims 2 and I loved it. In comparison, Sims 2 has much better graphics but only a few game enhancements. You should downloading all expansions packs, as they add many great things to the game.

I agree that it is better graphics, but as a said to the others. It's kind of like the same, but now with better graphics. And I think that is very dissapointing. But as the same, I don't think that the Sims 2 is so bad at all, I just expectet something newer. I don't now if you get me or what, it's just my opinion.

I prefer Sims 3 over Sims 2, but there are pros and cons to both of them for me. (Never played Sims 1, so I cannot comment on that one.) I think I probably expected a bit more from Sims 3 than we got, but I'm still pretty happy with it. Don't beat yourself up for not liking it; everyone is entitled to their opinion and maybe it's just not the right game for you to get maximum enjoyment.

I lov e Sims, Sims 2 and Sims 3!! of course with upgrades and new versions the old ones aren't as good as teh recent ones... But this is same with anything really... your very 1st mobile wasnt as good as teh one you have now, Windows 95 wasnt as good as Windows XP. I love retro look of the Sims.. And now having my laptop connected to the internet with Sims 3... Getting upgrades and newer versions... Also, download new items, worlds etc for your gaming experience..
And the next Sims will be better than the last!! Can't ask fro more than that really !!

well, I don't agree. I mean, I think it's fun, but I think it's more like the same. And I really think that they should think newer. And I'ts really not because I have something against it, I probably just had high expectations. But I still play Sims 3 sometimes. And you are probably right about your 1st mobile thing.

I am a fan of Sims actually. But I prefer the newer versions now. 
I had problems when I tried Sims 1, but it only improved a bit when I played Sims 2. It seems to me that you were expecting something better since it's going to be the upgraded version. Well, actually I'm kind of disappointed too since there are a few major changes in Sims 2. I guess overall it's only a so-so game.

I played Sims 2 in my PSP. It is different from Sims 2 in PC because in the PSP, we cannot make our own house, have a family, purchase a vehicle, etc. but there are still urgencies, wants, and goals. Sims 2 in PC is better for me.

I hope you played the PC version. Otherwise you really have no say in the matter.
