Often brings me more feelings than listening to them in the day. It's a weird and touching feeling I get from love songs. Is it because of the timing or maybe love songs are more suited to be listened alone, deep into the night? Somehow or other, it appeals more to me and also the time for me to reflect on every of my past relationships. Do u face the same too?

Wait till you listen to sad songs in the night and recall failed relationships. I remember listening to Barry Manilow's "Somewhere in the night" (Oh yes, I am old) during my teenage years. O boy, i could sing along with it and pity myself. Now, looking back, it seemed funny. Back then, it was like the end of the world. Which is why a friend helped when he quoted this to me "Life in the short run is a misery but in the long run, a comedy." I guess the mood of night is peacefulness where we think more without the hustle and bustle of day.

Yes, that's what i'm always doing. I often get to hear some of 'our songs' with my ex bfs and they brings back some memories. I do cry over them because i feel sad and touched at the same time. However, those feelings are only temporary. It's the songs that i like, but not those feelings of the past anymore.

It's always good to reminisce, just don't let yourself be dragged into a solemn mood for too long. I too end up liking the songs, but thoughts of my ex still come into the mind, even after so long by now. Recently as I was listening to the Christmas carols, again thoughts of my JC sweetheart drifted in. Haiz...it means nothing really, but I still wonder why ...like in the song "Even Now". Have you heard that song before?

Yeah, I like listening to love songs at night too. However, I also listen to other type of songs at night as well. Sometimes I would sing along with the song. The vocalist's emotion added to the love song can be quite touching at times.

Yup, i like listening to love songs deep into the night too. IT holds a special feeling to me unlike the day. Be it any forms of love songs, emo rocks to soothing ones, i like them all.. haha =D MAybe it's because of the timing, whereby in the day, we need some hard songs to suit our mood, due to work.. haha =D When it's nightfall, time to sleep and thus we are more relaxed, so appreciating the songs more.. hehe

I prefer listening to love songs with my girl.. If i am hearing them alone i start feeling so sad and lonely and it remind me Exs and break ups
But when i hear it with my girlfriend it is cute and romantic and it make us both happy.
Usually when i am alone at night and can't sleep i work-out, but i hear fast music like rock house trance or metal, no love songs :)

I know what you're talking about! I know that feeling.
Me too, I always listen to mmy favorite love songs
every before bedtime, at night, when I'm alone
in my bed and I can definitely feel the song
it just touches my heart. I love the feeling!
It's best to listen to these songs than at the busy day.

even i do feel more touchy when i hear love songs at night, i generally hear them during night and yes each song describes a different sort of feeling, of every relationship that we have gone through in the past (usually sad love songs) and cheerful love songs :)
