....If not for the money...

hi daddy mob! i think in the past few days i am one of those who's working not because i like what i am doing but because i need the money that i will earn from that job. its not easy to work when you don't like what you are doing and it just makes me feel so stressed. that's why i decided to take a break for a while and unwind! i think more than the money its really the satisfaction and the happiness that we feel while working that matters most. it's a lot more easier working or doing things that interests us than working just for the money. so just like what i have said, i rather have lesser earnings but happy than huge earnings but stressed! happy sunday daddy mob!

I can admit in a heartbeat that i'm working for the money. I never liked the job i've been getting. I'm surprised you can actually train yourself to like the job you have. I thought it was just a simple adaptation or a natural thing but it's not. It involves discipline and perseverance.

Right now I do not have a job so I have to like what I am doing. However, I'm not making money except for what I do online, which is bad, becuase I've gotten bored of earning online. That being said, I don't bring in anything anymore, and while it doesn't hurt us it doesn't help us either. I believe that a lot of people now love the money but not their job, and if given the chance they would quit but with the economy the way it is they can't do that right now.

I definately want a new job, but need to stay in mine for the money, Theres alot of things i want to do and they obviously require money to do them. unfortunately iv had some set backs with my car needing a new clutch and few other things, but all in all, you just have to tell yourself its for the money and when that pay cheque comes in, you dont feel so bad anymore

I teach swimming lessons and I love my job. I do often teach kids even when I am not getting paid. For instance, at a pool party with friends and family, if the little kids are asking "how do you do that?" I will spend a good deal of time showing them, which is actually my job, but I am not getting paid! I also end up teaching kids how to skate and stop every time I go skating, because these kids want to learn, and ask me! I also show the boys I babysit how to shoot hockey pucks properly so they can have control over their aim and hit the top corner, and I always help any kids I know with homework, etc. It's just something I love to do.
