which of the two branch of science are more difficult??? the PHYSICS or MATHEMATICS?? both two two deals with numbers and logical thinking for me, physics also deals math and in addition it also deals matters and forces and everything that moves..so its a combination while mathematics is a pure numbers..but why is it that i find math more difficult compared to physics?? YOU which do you prefer to be the difficult one??? PHYSICS or MATHEMATICS???

Mathematics is harder, because physics formulae and theories have real applications so they're easier to understand.

lol.. you cant understand higher physics unless you have a background of calculus. so physics is more difficult. but anyway, it is your definition. ehehhehehe

Sorry, I'm only talking about physics at my current level. But if I'm learning the same formulae as pure math and as physics at the same time, physics is easier. I had trouble understanding some math formulae a while ago, until I actually had to use it in a physics application, then I had this "OH NOW I GET WHY IT WORKS THAT WAY" moment.

Physics and math both are conceptual subjects and are correlated by each other. Math is the tool of physics without math we can not handle physics. I like both of subjects except disliking but I love math................. i feel that is a game or puzzle and i eager to solve it :)

Well i would have to say that i am great in both subjects. I got the best grade in maths and physics at my school. I got trophies for both. My grade for maths was much higher than my grade for physics but i would have to say i like physics more. Not because it is easier or harder but because it is fun. But if i had to put a difficulty level on both i would say that maths start off very easy, easier than physics. But then maths gets really hard and confusing and you dont know where the things come about (i understand it though but i doubt the simple minds could) while physics you would still have an explanation about how what come about. So it really depend on where you are studying. it is claim though that when you master physics no one sees you but when you master maths you are classified as a genius. Well i had to choose and i pick the one i prefer, which is physics.

I find them both difficult. But Physics really isn't my thing. I can deal with Math, I love numbers. But I just have some topics in Physics..like Equilibrium and motion and other stuff. Although it is very interesting, it's also very hard for me.I can handle Math..

you cant say that unless you have encountered higher physics like engineering mechanics... yes physics is much difficult compared to math. MATH is just the BASIC of PHYSICS. physics embodies mathematics like algebra and calculus.

difficult it is physics, because the calculation formula is more complicated than the mathematical formula
