I started this discussion not too long ago but I only got one response to it. I thought I would try it again using a slightly different title to see if I get more responses. Anyway, I'm having to right click on the videos these days to get them to open. I can't get them to open at all if I left click on them. What could be causing this problem and what can I do about it?

I think it is that you have to update your flash player. Go to the one that supports your browser and operating system. Also it could be you changed your mouse preferences so look into that.

It is probably your flash player. I got an update on my Mac and suddenly the flash player did n ot work so I had to update the flash as well. I was in a panic because the guy who was doing respite to look after my husband was a Windows fanatic and he said that flash does not work onMacs. Well he was wrong.

I will try to update my flash player and see if that works. I never have changed my mouse preferences but I will look into that. Thank you for responding.

I am no help at all. I have the problem with them telling me that they can't be viewed by people in the United States. Good luck.

Thank you for responding. I don't understand. I'm in the states and I view them all the time. Do you mean that they are telling you that they can't be viewed outside the United States? I thought you might have omitted a word up there. Welcome to mylot, btw.

I didn't make that very clear did I? Some of the videos I try to watch that comes in from overseas won't let me in. They say they ren't available in the US. I have no problems with the ones from the US.

My response would be similar to diamania above and would suggest you check to make sure if you have the updated java loaded. I would also suggest to try with a different browser, for instance if you are using FF, try IE and see if that does it. If so you do not have the update flash. If you are using FF go to the Mozilla site and in a few seconds it will tell you what is not updated and how to do so for free.

Thank you for your response. I have been using Internet Explorer since I first got this computer, which was in February 2009. I also used it with my old computer and never had any problems with it until now. I may try using FF and see if that works.
