What is the fun/secret of your nick name?

Some nicknames have come to be part of their owner, to the extent that the real name is completely forgotten. These nicknames may have started under odd circumstances while others by accident and sometimes follow the owner to the grave. I want us to share the fun the secrets behind our nicknames online. As for me, I was looking for a unique name to summarize all my 3 names in one, to meet the request of an application to open an e-mail account. So, I just extracted the parts of my names written here in capitals and made up one; as in MOhammed aLEEyu PAIKO and came up with MOLEEPAIKO. Though I was called MOLEE in my secondary school, it is actually fun that people all over the world now call me by my new name and I like it. What do you think, care to share yours??
