What are your beliefs about Tithing? Do you practice it? Did you have any good experience in your life that you can attribute to tithing?

yeah sure i do, although not regularly...
i don't have a specific belief about tithing, i just give 10% of what i have when i feel like doing so...but i have to admit, there are days when i dont' follow that 10 percent rule. and i don't think there's any harm in that, as long as a giver gives wholeheartedly and unselfishly.

I agree, it's not the amount that matters, but the generous heart behind it.

I have no beliefs or thoughts about tithing. The things I understand is that tithing lets me keep coming back to church every Sunday. The church probably will close down if they didn't get any money.

I take 10% off the gross pay of my check. Every check. Year around.
I believe that the Tithe is commanded by God to those who are Christians. It is not optional, nor a request. It is a command.
No I do not specifically have any good experiences in my life that I attribute to tithing, other than I felt like God was happy with me.
But that is not the reason I tithe. I do not expect God to dump money on me, or to suddenly get a promotion, or something in return. That would be nice, and I certainly would not argue with God should he chose to give those things to me (and by all means I do hope).
But the reason for Tithing is rather simple. He's God. I'm not. Therefore I Tithe.
If I ever become god... we're all doomed, but beyond that... then I will not Tithe. But until then, He's in charge, and I am not.
