I can't sleep tonight. After tossing and turning I decided to get up and go on line. What do you do when you can't sleep?

If and when I can't fall asleep easily, I usually tire my eyes out by watching TV and changing the channels and watch boring movies to help me fall asleep. Or I read a novel until I can no longer see the letters. Or get up and drink a warm drink and sometimes I listen to some music.
And minimize my caffeine intake during the day and sleep whenever I feel sleepy.

Listen to some soft music put to your room hearing only. It can generate sleep very fast my friend. that is my only medicine for sleep and it works!

I often can't sleep. It is really annoying. I have started taking melatonin at night. It helps a bit. I take 2 extra strength! I don't know why I have insomnia. I think it is because I am always worried. I wish I could shut my brain up. I have tried doing a before bed yoga routine that Crunch Fitness offers. It is nice, but it wakes me up. I usually try to read or listen to soothing music as well. Sometimes I just lay down and cuddle with my dog in the dark. He gets annoyed, but it helps me calm down!

I usually get up and read a book.
Then when my eyes start drooping, that's the time that I go back to bed.
You can also count 100 white sheeps in your mind. Try it if it will woork for you.

Just laying quietly, for me,geting up to do some activity like watching TV or going on line will make me excited and harder to sleep,so what I can do is just waiting ...to sleep!
