I have a question about taking an MSword document and making it into an ebook. I understand that i can turn my document into an ebook with Lulu. My question is if i create my ebook with Lulu, will it retain the same ebook form if i then submit to Amazon, and or other ebook selling websites.
If anybody has any knowledge or experience with this, please respond. Thanks.

You probably won't be able to submit your book to Amazon or any other site when it's formatted for Lulu. Unfortunately, each site has different formatting requirements. You will have to thoroughly understand each one and reformat to the specific requirements. Maybe some day, there will be a standard format for ebooks, but this is early days, just like when there were several different computer formats.
Be sure to create new copies rather than reformatting the original one. That way, you will have a properly formatted copy for each site, in case anything happens and you have to resubmit. I'm planning to publish on Smashwords next year, and maybe on Amazon, so I've been trying to keep up with all the information about formatting problems.

Catana,
Thank you. I think what you're saying makes sense. So i would have to reformat it to each website i list my ebook with, huh? That's okay. I believe they all let you keep your copyright, so there is no reason i can't just reformat it for each website i submit it to.
