What the hell does involution mean? Is it even a word?

Involution of what? The dictionary gives several definitions for the word. If you meant it to apply to the reverse of evolution, then the proper term for that is devolution.

We are constantly evolving, moving, moving towards more, better, better ... Could be better? It seems to me that leads to accelerated involution that our alienated. For all that is around and even ourselves, we turn adapting our time we live in, look for us and others to adapt to new times, in fact, ultimately, we are hostile and harmful way to think and live. Become cold and hard trying to survive life throbbing and demanding routine and modernism.
