does society treat men better than women?

what do you think does society treat men better than women? you rarely see a woman president. women are at least once in life made to suffer by man who only wnat them for their looks and after they sleep with them they dump them. some women are getting beaten every day by their partner who has vices like drinking... and the examples could go on....

I think the society in more developed countries is much better than for women than it was a few decades ago. The average salary for the same job is still higher for men than it is for women which is a little concerning but overall the sexism that goes on today in my country is nothing compared to what used to happen. However, I think it is a real concern what happens in some other countries though. Where women getting raped is a common occurence and where men are allowed to marry numerous women.

I was also thinking about tennis prizes. I don;'t get it why they have to be bigger in the men's competition than in woman's. they are all doing an effort and they deserve the same amount of money in the same tournament. I don't think is ok how the sponsors decided to pay them

Well to be fair, the women's tournaments in tennis are shorter than men's. Also, the men's tournaments are a lot more popular because ultimately you have to admit, they are better. Which is a bit unfair but there are other areas where in general women are born with more potential to be better in certain areas e.g. emotionally.

they aren't shorter. is true that the game lasts less than a men's game (2 sets out of 3, whereas in the case of men there are matches which lasts 2 out of 3 but there are also the ones with 3 sets out of 5).you can't compare a man's resistance to a woman's. that's why they gave up the idea of making grand slam tournaments lasts 3 sets out of 5 like in the case of men. but I don't think this should be a reason why women should be paid less than men.I don't necessarely think that they are better. is just that they have a different style. a woman will never be able to hit the ball like a man does.she won't have the power. but there are women who also have talent, who are gifted same as men. anyway I don't think is fair
