I don't like teams like Chelsea, I hated them since Roman Abramovitch took them over. If they were in Germany, this wouldn't have happened. In Germany it is not allowed for a team to be owned by a person more than 49 percent, 51% has to remain at the city.
I don't like Chelsea, so it is a great satisfaction whenever they fall on their face. I think this is a great blow in Abramovitch's face, I am sure that he hasn't expected to be crushed at home.
Back to the sporting side, I haven't expected this result neither, maybe this is due to the fact that I am not really following the English football, and I don't really know which players play for the so called little teams. When I looked at the scorers list, I have seen Onuoha, Asamoah Gyan and Wellbeck. I know Gyan from the national team of Ghana, and I have heard about the other two players as well, just I don't know too much about them. Anyways, if somebody has put money on Sunderland, then he has won 11 times the money he has bet.

Well I don't know if you know it, but 10 years ago Hoffenheim from Germany was in the 8th best division in Germany, but then there was a man, who put a lot of money in the club, and then they moved up to the Bundesliga. Just to tell that you that something like has happened in Germany. I don't like Chelsea either, because it was only because of Roman they are so good now. I know it sounds a bit double standard, because I like Real Madrid, but I was too young to know about money, when I fell in love with Real Madrid.
I don't think any of us had expected this result. Chelsea has been so strong at Stamford Brigde, and in the last 7-8 month no one has scored there in the Premier League, but then Sunderland came. It seems like Sunderland plays very well in this season, and I think they can do well.

But Dietmar Hopp doesn't own the team, this is impossible in Germany. He owns 49 percent, if I know this well, and he hasn't bought stars at all, he bought young players for little money. Players like Carlos Eduardo or Demba Ba were about 200.000-300.000 Euros, so you can't say that they have made anything big. The stadiums was built with the help of Dietmar Hopp, but the city of Sinnsheim has contributed as well. So you can't compare Hoffenheim with Chelsea. I am sure that Hoffenheim has a positive balance, and they are slowly building a team. And I haven't said that Real is the same with Chelsea, because Real is still the team of the supporters, but the laws are too permissive there too. But definitely Real doesn't go in the same category with Chelsea, because Real has a self built tradition, with lots of trophies won and many successes. The reason for what I hate Real is other, not related to this. But I don't have anything against true Real fans, who stick to their team no matter what. Contrary, I have high respect for fans who are behind their team, especially in hard times, when things are not going so well. This is not the case now, but hard periods can happen anytime.

Well I know that Dietmar Hopp doesn't own Hoffenheim, but he has put a lot of money in the club, just as Roman Ibramovich. I not exactly the same. I didn't knew that he bought young players,I thought he bought players, who costs a lot. So you might be right at this point, but to move to the Bundesliga from the 8th best division in Germany in just 10 years or something is very hard I think, so they must have done something like Chelsea.
About Real Madrid, it was just because I said I didn't like Chelsea, because of the way Roman does the financial things, and Real does kind of the same, but of course they has a big tradition and history, and they were actually more great, when they didn't have all the money.

This result is a great example of why I love football. For all the money Chelsea have spent, and the reputations of their players, once the games starts it is 11 men v 11 men and shocks can always happen.
I didn't watch the match, but the reports I've read say Sunderland fully deserved their win. Amazing considering how badly Sunderland played recently against Newcastle!

I have watch the match and got to say this is not the Chelsea of old. They were outplayed all over the field. The defence was clueless, midfield was losing the battle and the attacker was impotent. They are definitely missing the likes of Terry, Lampard and Essien. Drogba looks like he is still suffering the effect of malaria. But credits to Sunderland, they play a brilliant game.
This sure is a setback for the blues and a 3-0 home defeat will be unlikely again. Despite this, they are still two points ahead of the chasing pack. From what had transpired, this look to be a exciting season with many twists and turns ahead.

It has been a great week for Arsenal. Manchester have drawn both of this week game. Chelsea lost yesterday. Arsenal have win both game after a disappointing week last week. 2 points behind Chelsea and Arsenal will meet both Chelsea and ManU next month. This weekend against Spurs. I didn'tr expect Sunderland to have 3 goals, 1-0 win to sunderland yes but not 3-0.

If Arsenal plays good and win against Tottenham, then it looks very good. The 2 games against United and Chelsea will be very diffiult to win, but both United and Chelsea doesn't look as the strongest teams at the moment, so if Arsenal manage to win against United and Chelsea, then they are in a good position.

This could be the result that could blow open the title race completely. Now Chelsea is within touching distance of both Arsenal and Man U. If these clubs win their respective matches against Chelsea then they can now win the titles. I think this season has really been a topsy turvy one and this result is another proof of it. Chelsea were not just beaten, they were decimated by Sunderland!!
Definitely the result of the week.
Cheers!
