I feel that I do forever have many ideas that I feel like I need to write. There are times where I am struggling to figure out what idea I should tackle first. Perhaps I will write a little bit of each idea and see what clicks the best before choosing a direction. Do you find yourself doing this?

I would brainstorm and see how far some of the ideas will take you. If they peter outafter a time then move on. I keep a file of ideas and any brainstorming I have done on the subject. I think blogs are good for some of this. Journaling is a wonderful way of getting these ideas down and doing the brainstorming faze. I have a personal journal and a writing one.

Brainstorming can help. It can stir up someone. Of course, there are times where I just have a braindraught. Then it can lead to frustration. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

Ideas are everywhere. If I just concentrate on getting ideas on what to write about for 5 minutes, I will have a long list. But when it comes to writing, sometimes we need slightly more inspiration to develop those few ideas into an article or something longer. That is why sometimes I have lots of unfinished drafts in my computer. Sometimes I never finish them at all. They go to my recycle bin because I was no longer interested in writing about them.

Once in while I do a clean-up of all my writing drafts and dump them into my recycle bin. Sometimes you just want to clear your mind a little before starting something new. I think I will do it towards the end of the year, so I will have a fresh start.

always have tons of idea's going through my head for many different things. I also have trouble deciding which one to tackle first. I think it's just a normal part of life. I try to write things down as I think of them and leave them for a bit and go back to them later, with a clearer mind. Usually I completely change my mind and do something tat I never even thought of doing in the first place or I combine idea's together. I think writing things down really helps. As you said, maybe you should write down parts of what your thinking of writing and then go back to them all later and see what you come up with.

Yeah I tend to have a bunch of notes regardless. Often times writing something out can help formulate something that is a bit more solid in my mind. At least that is the case. Thank you for your response, it is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

Ideas are all around us. A good writer can pull them from out of the blue. the world is an endless source of ideas for a writer to write about. If you can see it and feel it, you can write about it.

The world is full of inspiration. That is so very true. It is really easy to find something and pick it out of midair. Exactly how it forms from there is up to the writer and their own individual style. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

I think I have periods of creativity. There are times where I have many ideas. Then there are times where the ideas are a bit dry. I think that there are days where I can keep them straight in my brain but other days where I have to write them down. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

Oh yes. All the time. I love writing but I get swamped with ideas and for this purpose I keep at least one notebook with me constantly. I can't survive if I don't have a book to scribble in for the day.
I have a post it wall with a bunch of bits of stories - a line, a paragraph, an idea, a plot twist, etc - and when I need something new to work on or when a story gets too loud for me, I go gather up the post its for that particular story or another one to work on and start writing that.

I think we can pick a direction easier if we see something on paper. Ideas are great but they really do not start to form until we begin to write it out. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

Yeah writing them down tends to lead to one thing. There have times where the most off the cuff idea turns into something big. You just never know. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

I have loads of ideas too. I tend to just go for the one that I find myself thinking about the most. If I'm excited about a new idea then I immediately start word-building and writing it. I've got lots of ideas filed away in my journals and notebooks, some of them are going to have to wait of course. I hope to have them all written one day!
Sometimes I just play eeny meany miney mo. Which is actually kind of fun!

I simply dazing off what on my mind. I manage some blogs about social politics. I produce tons of writings a day, and I don't commercialize them. But it was, lol! Now, I'm not writing again. Seems I'm so tired. In newspaper I'm absent. I just wanna quit for a while before I come back again. Writing is my life, without it, I can go mad. Mylotting is also writing, rite?
