Negative Comments on Youtube?

I think negative comments are stupid because it means the user just wasted their time watching a video just so they could leave a negative comment.

i think if there is any negativism it has to be said in a subtle and respectable way. i dont like people giving too much negative comments that are very striking and offensive

Hmm...negative comments that are aimed towards a change in attitude or skills can be accepted positively.However,when such comments are used inappropriately towards certain individuals in terms of race or any factors like that,it's unacceptable to me.

I get those on my videos all the time and people make fun of me, I just laugh because I'm earning extra money from the time they wasted watching my video and making fun of me.

Why does it offend you? Do you feel that these comments are generally aimed towards your race? Or it's against what you believe in? Or something else entirely?

Negative comments on Youtube videos bother me as well. Not just comments that respectfully dislike something, but the ones that, as you mentioned, are derogatory. There are tons and tons of comments like this on youtube videos and it bothers me. I shouldn't let it, but it's so often it makes me mad. People use the internet to be racist/sexist/homophobic because it's anonymous and they're cowards who couldn't say such things in real life. I'm black and it's very annoying to watch an exercise video or something with a black woman in it, and then scroll down and see the comment section filled with hateful, racist speech. It just makes me wonder how many people really think that way in the day to day life, but pretend they aren't prejudiced. I can't understand how others think that sort of thing is funny. Anyway, yes, it absolutely bothers me as well.
