I just found this site and have been trying it out and I just have a few questions...
Is there a pay scale or something so that I can see what is worth what?
how long does it take to pay out?
what are some other pay sites?
can someone just tell me how much a post is worth?
how much is a comment worth?
a blog?
subscribing to a blog?
reading blogs?
uploading a photo?
commenting on a photo?
Referrals?
im just trying to understand the site...can you help?

Hi misterinnovation! I am a newbie also and I think your question is a good one for us here who are starting in mylot. From what I have done so far, i just completed some tasks and instantly after 15mins, I earned something. :-)

I agree tasks are a great way to earn faster on this site. you can do just about anything from signing up to free (or paid) programs, to writing articles or taking quick surveys. The money is held in escrow so that you don't get stuck working for free.

Only the admin knows how was the rate for our participation here on mylot. Sometime my earnings also be taken away maybe because of the deletion of my answer and discussion. Now I use first the search engine before I make a new to prevent repetitive posting of discussion!

As a somewhat new user I can shed some light on earning more through your comments. Mylot prizes QUALITY comments not quanitity. I find that I earn more money(even with fewer post) if my comments are well thought out and answer the questions being asked. Also if the comment helps to lead to a discussion you can earn a bit more also.
They don't display the calculation that they use to establish the pay system. But your activity does matter. Check out the FAQ section and it sheds some light.
The best way I found was to make several post and then the next day check out how much I earned. It will give you an idea of how much quality you are producing.
Hope that helps.
