Mac in my opinion is the best. I know it might be a bit pricy , but it's really fast and the graphics on it are freaking amazing!

I agree with the Mac option. I just recently got a Macbook and I think it is the best investment I have made. I got some recommendations from some friends and finally decided on a Macbook. It does have really good graphics and I was told that I don't have to really worry about getting viruses because it is really rare for a virus to be made to target Macs. I've only known one person who got a virus and he took it into the apple store and they just replaced it with a new computer.I suppose there is that risk but I feel it is very minimal.

Woah Woah Woah...you don't want to spend all that if you don't know what your options are I have an HP Compaq mine cost $700+Tax and insurance at Best Buy when it was on sale...Mine is really good it's got Windows 7 which is great! but I suggest you go on Amazon.com, Best Buy, and maybe Walmart as well and compare features and prices between which ones you like...If your looking for brand names then I suggest going with the best which is Hp,Sony,Gateway...NEVER go with Dell I went with them last time and they had aweful customer service and don't get a notebook (mini computers)they have so many bad features it'd just be a waste of time...and cost you twice as much to put money in them...anyway I hope I helped Good Luck! :)
