Coloring books...bonding time with children

When i was a kid myself, i just love coloring books! I love to crayons and water colors mixed up all together in a canvass or in simply just a piece of paper with stick figures. 
Now, i seem not to get over this hobby, so everytime i bond with my niece at home, we pick up crayons and coloring books and we color together. We are having fun everytime we do this and we get to spend quality time together! 
Have got your bonding moments with your kids? Children would really want and need quality time spent with their loved ones. So what activity do you do as bonding time with kids?

With my son, I am working with him on skills that he is going to need when he starts school in a year or so. In addition to that, we do a lot of crafts at home. We love to pull out the box of art supplies and make crafts with each other. Our most recent project has been Perler Beads because we were lucky enough to have a Perler Bead houseparty a couple weeks ago and we have lots of leftover supplies from the party.

I also color with my daughter I love it. I always let her pick out the colors we are going to use. We also play dolls together the stories she comes up with are too funny. She is only three but what an imagination she already has. Sometimes we go to the park. I love just spending one on one time with her. Next year she will start preschool and I am sure that will be fun but less one on one time but I can't wait for her to tell me about her day and her new friends that she is making.

The best time to bond with you kindergarten kid is to help them do
some coloring and complete some home work with them!

Yes,indeed! Both the kids and the parents enjoy doing this activity. I, particularly, not only consider this a bonding time..i also am relieved from stress from every day work. Its relaxing.

I don't have children, but my step-sister, and step-brother are both married with children. One of the things I love doing with the children, is showing them how to do different things on the computer. They love it when I bring over my laptop, and show them how to do different things.

yes I agree coloring together is great bonding time! It's time to sit and visit and you can learn all sorts of things about each other when you slow down enough to sit and enjoy the time together!
