Would you accept a job offer which requires you to travel abroad regularly?

I believe that work should not be put first even though it provides the money and survival means. But, i wouldnt imagine myself travelling abroad regulaly and leaving my family behind me. What about you?

I am working for a company which is doing business internationally. So, my work requires me to travel to countries in different parts of the world once in a while. Not that frequently. I very much enjoy meeting and working with people of different nationalites and cultures. That is very educational too.

I guess it depend on the status of the person. If you are single then definitely you have options to be away of your base country. The answer would be different if you are living together with your family. I am single right now. My work allows me to travel to different parts of the world. Although I am not really able to spend time just checking the place as I had to do some chores while in the country but the idea alone that I was able to check place is rewarding. Being in another place is a different feeling. You get to see other people and experience their culture first hand.

It depends on how often I would have to do it and for how long, to be honest.

Yes! I would definitely accept that job offer. but maybe that's cause I'm young and I want to see the world. And I don't have a family of my own to weight me down. Maybe if I was married and had kids I'd think differently. But as of right now I'd totally want to have a job like that.

No! With the airport security no way! If it weren't for too many unreasonable strict rules and body scanners then I might travel abroad. If I am provided a private jet where I can avoid all unreasonable rules of airport security and avoid body scanners then I would be willing to travel abroad regularly but only if I make really really huge profits.

Definitely yes! I mean traveling abroad on a regular basis? And (if I'm lucky), the costs of those travels covered by my employer? I would definitely agree to the job! Then again, I don't have little children, so I woudn't have so much problems giving up my family... I understand why you would hesitate. Nonetheless, it would be too big of a chance for me to give it up. It sounds like a great adventure!
