So yesterday at the cat rescue, there was a 4 week old gray kitten that had been abandoned in a box at a veterinary clinic. She was so lonely, poor baby. She wanted to be held constantly, and meowed pitifully if she was put down. And then somebody called. A mama cat had abandoned 3 babies that were about the same age. Just what iddle gray kitty needed - friends. So later in the day, a woman showed up with three little Siamese mix kittens about the same size. This is a picture of 3 of the four kittens. Little gray kitty was much happier after that. All four are doing well, bottle feeding and eating a small amount of canned food. Hooray, one for the good guys. I hope they go to good homes!

They are sooooo cute and teeny!! I never really had kitten experience until my sister's ex boyfriend had tons of little kitties (well, his cat did - ha ha). My sister nabbed "the runt" of the litter. I had never seen such a teeny weeny kitten that fit in the palm of my hand. And it tried to escape and it did sort of a back bend as I held it, I felt so bad I did that to the wittle kitty!! Anyway, little ones of any kind are too darn cute!! Hope the kittens find a good home soon!

Really? How funny! Exercising and massaging the kitty, in a sense, eh? My kids love those little fur balls . . . but we can't have them. My oldest is allergic to cats (just like me when I was a kid) - plus they want $800 for a pet deposit. Yes, $800!!!

Yow! And I thought $300 was outrageous!!!

Would be nice if they did all go to a good home, they do deserve it. Some people just don't take care of their pets. I havbe never had a pet and never really been interested in having one but they should still be treated the right way.

Hi-Dawny, I stepped up onto my soapbox the other day to spread the word about registering, micro-chipping and de-sexing our beloved pets. The guy replied he'd register it (which is a load of bull) but he wouldn't bother with that other rubbish. I said, you don't want your pets breeding and dropping pups and kitties all the time...his comeback? "That's what hammers are for". At that moment I would have liked to take a hammer to him.

i hope they do to. the poor little things. as much as cats act like they dont want to be bothered most of the time, its funny how lonely they can be if theres no other cats around them. i noticed that when i had cats. they were always happier if there were at least 2 of them.

Ohhhhh, how itty bitty!!! They look so cute. I am such a sucker for abandoned animals. My husband says if I bring one more stray home, we will have to move out to the country and have a huge barn, just for all the animals! Oh course, if I knew he was really serious, I would start bring more home just to be able to do that..lol

They are so cute! My daughter adores cats but I never could take such responsility. So she made a collections of photos and even took a cat as her profile photo in facebook:))
In my country we don't have pet rescue and there are more amd more stray cats and dogs.
I'd love to work in a cat rescue.

Hey, I got Ping, Pong and their sister May and I knew they were the same age, but Pong just dwarfed his siblings! You know that frequently girls can be a bit smaller than their brothers, well, Ping was the same size as his sisters.
And then there were the 4 bottle babies in 07. Ari was huge compared to his brothers and sister, I'm sure he grew up to be a big fluffy fellow!

Darn it Dawn! Are you trying to torture me or something? You know I can't have a kitten and yet here you are posting about these little guys. Thanks a lot!
Anyway, I hope that they find forever homes soon! Though they're so cute, they shouldn't have any problem!
Happy mylotting!

Hi dawn,
Those little kitties really looks adorable, I wouldn't able to hand them over to anyone if I had my hands on them, lol! I have two adorable cats male and female and both fast asleep at the moment, although I would like another cat but a kitten, I don't think they would like that very much, nor would hubby, lol! I hope these kittens will find a good loveing homes. Hugs.

There's the hard part about cat rescue, not being able to keep all of them. And you fall in love over and over and over again...

I had a similar incidence, but mine was with a newborn kitten. Luckily I had a friend whose momma cat had just had a litter a few days before. My kitten went to her and momma cat instantly took the baby in...

That's great. When we get little ones, if there's a mama cat, we also try and get her to take care of them. Much easier all around!

oooh. they're so adorable. One reason why I want a place of my own is that so I could adpot cats. My mum doesn't like cats and so do our household helps.
I plan on working at our local animal rescue headquarters, but unfortunately i'm so backed up that I have no time to even pass my volunteer form.

Awww, they are tiny! I can't have kitties at our house cause I'm allergic to them. I had a Siamese cat when I was younger and still living at home. I think I was allergic to it but just didn't know it at the time. Now if I get around them I will start sneezing and my the eczema on my face will get all red and itchy again. So I just try to stay away...which is hard because I clean houses for other people. I have a cream the doctor prescribed me so I just use it if I have to be around them. But anyway, the kitties are sweet and I hope they go to good homes too!!

I'm a little allergic myself, but not as bad as all that thank goodness. I've had cats all my life, and I can't imagine not having one.

I bet they do. I can't do bottle feeding though, because I wouldn't be able to take them into my building at work.

So you work at a cat rescue. I guess that's voluntary? That must be so neat. Those little babies are so very special We need a whole lot more people like you who care and will go out of their ways to help them.

Aw those kitties are so cute. I want one. That is so sad that the momma kittie abandoned them though. Just left them alone like that to fend for themselves. Poor kitties. Thank goodness though that someone found them and brought them in.

Usually when the mama abandons them, there's something wrong with them, but these ones all seem really healthy. Maybe something scared her.

They'll find good homes, never fear. We're a no kill rescue, and we'll keep them for as long as it takes.

I love cats as well as kittens, it is a shame that soo many of both are dumped or abandoned by people. It is a good thing that there was people that were able to look after the kitten along with the three kittens that were there as well.I am glad that things are looking up for the kitten that was abandoned.

Too many cats, not enough people. That's why I wish more people would have them spayed/neutered.
